The Proclaimed Blood Line of the infamous Rocket Scientist Jack Parsons: An Alphabet of Daggers Exclusive

Since I  (Starruby777) started formally my  Thelemic studies, the image of Jack Parsons and his role on the development of Thelema in the United States, captivated all my fascination. So it was my decision to dig more and more about his work searching  material about him,  finding a lot of information regardless this controversial man, and everything that i got,  I found it  so mesmerising.

The purpose of this article is not to tell his story or even make a summary, so I suppose that those who are reading it or listening at the podcast are already familiarised with it. Anyway, it worth to mention some clue points, like,  to state  first of all that among  the multiple sources of information, that  we  actually can find to consult about him,  several of them are contradictory;  testimonies and even fake information can be found regardless his life and importance both as a scientist and also as a magician or mystic. So to me, no one can in fact say that it has the “absolute truth” about him.

The official information about his death  on June 17th 1.952 on his laboratory in Pasadena California,  it was a fact that i accepted, as everyone should do, since  it was the legal information spread to the public.  Anyway, besides that official information I also found simultaneously contrary versions regardless the event, and even the fact of his actual death. The statement always mentioning: “mysterious death” or “mysterious circumstances” appeared very suspicious to me; even beyond the possibilities of the reasons or causes of the accident, that in fact happened, finding versions about being something planned as a murder, or a suicide, as some theories that I found mentioning even a possible not death of Jack,  but a decision of himself to end his public life and start a brand new different life in another place far away and under another name of course.

This specific versions about himself faking his death, had also testimonies according to which Marjorie Cameron was mentioned saying that in fact no one neither her was able to see his body, in opposition to the official version according to what she in fact saw him in the hospital before his death and even talked with him,  just to mention one.  All this contrary information that I read almost simultaneously,  was very shocking and gave place to much wandering about the subject.  but I, as the majority of the crowd,  did accept the official version taking for fantasies or noves all the other versions that I found, which is something  reasonable,  since one use to accept what is imposed by the social media, even more in our age of information, we just accept all if is written in Wikipedia.

My fascination towards Jack, made me felt sad about the circumstances of his officially publicly informed way of death;  of course, I have to admit that I have been always a devoted “fan”,  and Jack became to be a kind of idol to me. This sadness was in a way accepted more easily knowing that the fatal awful event in fact fit what himself mentioned several times on what he supposedly knew would be his own end, based in the magickal work he developed in the 1.946 in the Mojave Desert, known as the Babalon Working, according to what he would be sacrificed and burned beyond. In fact that is what it literally say the prophesy contained on it.

Anyway after digging in his writings specially the short book called “Parsons letters to Cameron” a collection of personal correspondences of letters directed to her by him (of course as it’s name states) one can conclude easily that they were separated already by the year of 1949, and that it was a mutual  agreement, remaining being good friends and perhaps still keeping alive  an  ardorous  love between them,  but that for some important reason they had to be tear apart from each other. He mention clearly their plans on achieving a legal divorce.

Information about the “last years” of Jack are remarkable in say that his life went in a fall, he actually wrote in the book of the Antichrist about having to take the Black Pilgrimage and the Oath on Liber Samekh,  which it could be mentioned as a kind of “calvary” for him that led to the end of his “death on the explosion”; –  regarding his job as Rocket Engineer in the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and  his change of position in the O.T.O., after the “Babalon Working” his most important endeavour, was something that unconsciously in my mind remained without a satisfactory answer.

After reading once an again his “Collected Writings” and more recently his “Parsons letters to Cameron” a simply sight it seems to be evident that the tragic outcome was something that he was prepared for, or at least waiting, as a result of his own sacrifice to get fulfilled the prophesy contained in the Liber 49.

Then, on April 2016,  I had one photo of Jack as one of my featured photos on my Facebook personal profile; one of those days,  i decided to accept some of the friendship requests that i had accumulated of several people, and among them a man  (Michael Dietrich) wrote in the photograph the following:

      • “he was my grandfather”

I was online so i immediately replied to him in the photo saying:

      • “I never knew that he was a father”

So,  we started a conversation by inbox and he explained to me how he achieved the conclusion on being Jack Parsons grandson.  After “listening” to him with absolute scepticism, different thoughts crossed my head, one of them it was:

– Why not? …  Why Jack Parsons, would not take such kind of decision, if he had a reason to do it? To  fake his own death in order to start a brand new life far from his recognisable activities and the public spot?

Also my mind questioned saying:

      • But then what happened with the prophesy according to which he would burn beyond?

After thinking a lot on it, I concluded that in fact the “burning beyond” could be a metaphor meaning something else than the material sense of the words. Burning beyond it could be even his  self  renouncement  to his life, his name, career and circle of people. At least this have some sense to me.

Without accepting totally the version told by my new friend Michael, I never got to absolutely reject it. Even more knowing that Jack had some issues according to what he was accused of being a spy.

After that conversation, I only shared the info with 2 people,  one of them of my entire trust and the other I also felt the need to share it since I knew that that person professed also a profound love towards Jack, so my aim was to bring a good new to her. My friend told me about his own project on writing a book exposing his own story. Also he mentioned that I was not the first person to whom he shared this info.

I continued talking time to time with my friend Michael and with my empathy skills I could only feel his honesty and sense his normal behaviour in  a mental sense. I am no one to think that other person is crazy or have mental problems only for telling me a story like this one; even more being a woman who is in the Occult world, and after all the amazing experiences that I have witnessed myself during my whole life,  since being a very little child; the acceptance of the possible truth behind Michael story was gaining more and more strength in my mind and also in my heart. It was only till the moment in which Michael shew to me a picture  a  kid on his family that one could say: “Men!!! This kid is undeniably linked to Jack in some way cause is just exactly his face!!! ” that I actually was absolutely convinced of his testimony. The photo is of a person in his family that is simply remarkably undeniable the presence of Parsons genetics at simple sight, at least to me. Michael himself has a great resemblance as well. I felt thankful with him on showing me such a beautiful photo. So,  to me actually,  without saying at all that can state as a fact (that only could be proven by scientific methods) Micheal’s testimony is valid.

So,  recently I decided to invite Michael to give an exclusive interview to Alphabet Of Daggers, and I could not be happier when he actually accepted to answer some questions to the select audience of this blog. And since my personal conclusion, not necessarily mean that I can affirm the veracity of Michael’s version, I wrote the questions of the  interview from a neutral perspective so the reader can make his own conclusion, or at least not feel that I am selling a story that is against all what the people in the Occult have accepted as true for so long time.

So I am deeply thankful with Michael by accepting answer the following questions:

Please do a short and general description of yourself.

Michael Dietrich:

I’m a 34 year old male, currently living in North Florida. A bit ironic to find myself, after living in quite a few different places, back near where I had grown up. My mother and father, along with myself, all live close to each other now. My father moved down here for Upstate NY after I did, and here we are. Currently single, daughter from a previous marriage. My daughter’s birthday happens to be Halloween, which has always made for a fun day, appropriate enough.

What was the first time you knew about Jack Parsons and how it was?

Michael Dietrich:

I remember while looking at the moon sometimes at night my father would tell me stories that he said his father had told him. Other than the scientific facts and features, which were always explained, was the story that we had a relative who had a crater on the dark side of the moon named after them

How did you get to realise that you actually had a link with Jack Parsons?

Michael Dietrich:

Growing up as a child I never got to meet my grandfather, he had passed away when my dad was only 11 but I heard many stories about him. I remember times growing up when my father would tell me things like we had a rocket scientist related to us in some way or another. And also with the story of we having a relative with a crater on the moon named after him. As a child other than me thinking it was pretty cool I never put much thought into it until I got older and wanted to learn more about my grandfather, and my great grandparents and family history. Besides the stories my father would tell me about him I had nothing else, no pictures or anything except my uncle had some old reel to reel, but at the time I hadn’t seen them, he was putting them together for a video tape. So, I decided to to go on the internet to do research about him and I couldn’t find anything except an old ad for his doctor’s practice. There was no obituary, or anything else in reference to him. I knew that he was buried in the Live Oak cemetery but was not on the list of the people who had been buried there. At that point I decided to start doing some research on this Jack Parsons fellow to see if there were any connections between he and my Grandfather since my dad had mentioned all those times that he was related to us. For instance I recall asking my dad about my grandparents and what he knew about them and all he could tell me was that they had two sculptures, or busts, of his grandparents in the library in the home he grew up in. Carved beneath the mother’s likeness was Whiteside, her maiden name. I took the research from there. I then discovered many connections between the two, Jack Parsons and my grandfather. Things such as they both came from Indiana and that both of their personal lives are very hard to find out with research except for a few things here and there. I know that both had dealings with the military in some way, and that a lot of the information is classified. Other things I’ve found out at the time that Jack Parsons supposedly blew himself up was the same time that my Dad’s family moved to the middle of nowhere, Live Oak Fl. I could go on and on, on which you will be able to read in my book when it’s finished but my conclusion is he faked his death, changed his name from Jack to James and moved to Live Oak Fl with a new identity and life. I was 100% sure when the video tape came in that my uncle made from the old reel to reels and I could see him with my own very eyes in the video.

What is the link between you and Jack Parsons?

Michael Dietrich:

Jack Parsons is my Grandfather.

What was the feeling that you had once you realised the existence of that link?

Michael Dietrich:

I felt a heavy load like a lot of responsibility was put upon me.

Have your life changed in some way after realising the link between you and Jack?

Michael Dietrich:

Yes I started noticing things that would stand out to me almost as clues or signs pointing me in the right direction, I feel as if there’s a journey I need to complete. A lot of things started making sense to me and I would connect them with myself. It felt as if I had clarity but there was still a lot I had to find out.

Please share with us how was your childhood and if perhaps you ever felt interest or attraction to Science, Physics, Science Fiction, or  technology developing specifically in the branch in which Jack Parsons was an expert, which is rocket engineering?

Michael Dietrich:

Well I had a very interesting childhood and was always attracted to spirituality and magic and science fiction mainly from the teachings of my father. I recall being the age of six and he teaching me how to have out of body experiences and that we are very important and we should act as such. I’m extremely interested in art especially music and have been since as I was a little child. My father has been extremely involved in all things involving the sciences since he was a child, along with music, etc…

Also tell us if  during your childhood you felt attracted to occultism

Michael Dietrich:

Oh yeah I definitely did, I always was interested because of the things my father taught me about. I felt like he and I were some sort of magicians since I was young. He is also an initiate, so…it was a way of life sometimes.

Have you had paranormal experiences after the knowledge that you achieved on being a relative of Jack Parsons?

Michael Dietrich:

Yes, but I’ve had paranormal experiences my whole life. I feel a connection with the spirit. Sometimes they show themselves to me in ways that they apparently don’t for others. Ever since I’ve learned these things about my grandfather I’ve felt like the spirit world and the material world is keeping an eye on us and that we are okay.

What is your personal opinion about Jack Parsons and his work both as Scientific and Occultist, and tell us if that opinion changed with the knowledge you achieved about the relationship between you both.

Michael Dietrich:

My opinion is that he was well ahead of his time and a risk taking maverick in both fields. That everything to do with rocket science that we have today is based on his work. That area 51, UFOs and every science fiction movie or story that came out in the last fifty years is based on his ideas and accomplishments in both fields, of science and occultism.

How have been your approach to Jack Parsons’s work after realising the link you have with him, i mean, it made you get more interested in his work?

Michael Dietrich:

I’ve definitely gotten more interested in his work, it makes me feel as If I’m getting to know my grand dad. So that interests me very much so I’m looking for new things to explore and find out about him.

Have you studied deeper his work or have you discovered something else that the main public ignores?

Michael Dietrich:

Yes I have and still to this day I’m studying his work. As far as discovering things that the main public ignores or doesn’t know about is very possible.. That’s for another time and place.

Do you  think this interview will be well received by people in occult or if perhaps could have an impact in this specific public?

Michael Dietrich:

I’m not sure, people that are into the occult are very sceptical about things they’re not sure about. As far as an impact I hope so. I’d like to get this information out there, I feel he never got a fair chance to achieve the goals that he wanted.

Have you shared your discovery about your link with Jack Parsons in the past to other people? And if yes can you tell us about it, and what reaction did you have once you told the story.

Michael Dietrich:

Well my father knows, and I’ve told my mother about it and a couple of really close friends and family, but that’s it. I do have a story though, about an instance that actually anchored all this together or at least helped me figure this out. A couple of years ago I was living in Albany NY at a time when I just started to learn these things about Parsons and who I was. I met this group of young adults in their twenties who lived in the building next door to me. I recall one night hanging out with one of the guys from that group and I started to tell him about the connection between Jack Parsons and myself. He found it very interesting and began to tell me that one of the females that lived with him next door was a huge fan of Parsons and the occult and that she evoked the spirit of Jack Parsons to come and visit her, and here I was two weeks later in front of him telling him these things. From then on the whole group of people from that building had no doubt in their minds that I was the grandson of Jack Parsons, and would follow me around town like I was some sort of messiah.

What is your specific opinion on the subject of the Babalon Working, do you think this magical operation it was actually successful?

Michael Dietrich:

It was indicative of his passion. He wanted to explore areas where others hadn’t, he wanted results. He had no fear of the powers of science or the occult and when it came to those things which others said couldn’t be done, he wanted to prove them wrong. After the working we do have Cameron appearing on the scene of course, this is certainly a degree of success.

Do you think that Jack Parsons performance of the Babalon Working in the Mojave Desert was something legitimate to develop to a Magician of the grade he had?

Michael Dietrich:

In terms of his grade I would say no, but in my personal opinion in doing your true will there are no rules or grades.

Can you tell us your personal opinion about the reasons why he actually decided to fake his death and change his name to banish from the public and start another very different life?

Michael Dietrich:

Who knows, but I could think of a couple of reasons. After losing security clearance again, rough times, government pressure and surveillance. Maybe to get from out from under the ties to previous affiliations. Maybe he wanted a family of his own where no one knew him and have a fresh start, live the life of a normal citizen.

Do you think that the faking of death in the famous explosion in his laboratory in Pasadena California invalidates in some way his Babalon Working, since after the reading of the documents recorded by him on it, it could be concluded that his fate was predicted on it?  yes, no, and why.

Michael Dietrich:

I feel the work continues, as to the actual explosion and faking his death he would complete the Babalon working by destroying his Jack Parsons identity and be engulfed in flames. But when the explosion happened he realised that something was off and something else was to be done. That’s why supposedly his last words were “I’m not finished.” By then there was nothing he could do because he had already set things in motion for the new identity, and could never be Jack Parsons again. Because of that he had left clues to help get me to where I am today, to finish the great work.

What is your perception and /or your  rationalisation about the outcome of the Babalon Working, specifically about  the prophesy of the Incarnation of Babalon Herself in a Single specific woman.

Michael Dietrich:

Yes in some parts it was successful but there are more steps that need to be completed and I do believe that the incarnation of Babalon herself is coming through in a single specific woman. I’ve waited for her to come for me, perhaps.

Can you share with us some interesting facts about Jack Parsons that some people ignore?

Michael Dietrich:

Yes I can share two different facts about Jack Parsons that most people don’t know. First is the fact that you can’t find any research on Jack Parsons father online at all, except that his name was Marvel and he was a captain in the military. He is the basis for the character Captain Marvel. Secondly, he was very good friends with a young man by the name for Ray Bradbury who happened to be one of the boyfriends of Marlene Dietrich at the time. Ray Bradbury said himself that he based Star trek and all his work on Parsons’ ideas and stories.

Do you feel that the “Spirit” of Jack Parsons as an inspiration for society, in arts, science, etc., …  it is still alive?  If your answer is yes please explain why or how.

Michael Dietrich:

Yes, I believe the spirit of Jack Parsons is the inspiration for the creation of many science fiction books and movies. I believe that his spirit is still alive in rocket science and space exploration. I feel that his spirit is rising again as we speak.

Would you like to add something more you would like us to know?

Michael Dietrich:

Yes, I would just like to add that we all have a fire burning inside of us, and it”s up to each one of us to take hold of it until it engulfs us in our true Will. Right now the fire may be small but it’s growing and growing. Until one day it’s so big it blasts us all back to the stars where we belong. “…and to which we shall return.” I’m also writing a book about the subject of Jack Parsons being my grandfather and all the exiting clues and stories that were too long for me to mention here. I also have a band in which my father and I are both members. If you would like to check us out please go to Our Facebook page or send an email to Thank you for everything, it’s been a pleasure and I would be happy to come back to visit anytime.

Thanks very much for this opportunity you gave us, to share your story with our select audience.

Weather Magic, Witch Burnings, Yoga and E-motional Suppression in Relation to Al-Chemical Ancient Symbols, Sigils in Regards to Alchemy and Lunacy

First I would like to say I know that the practice of bhakti is not to suppress ones emotions however I have a theory on weather magic which I believe to be both original and scientific.  Unfortunately there is no way to be for certain if any of this has been magic or if it is only perceived in my own mind to be magic, the only way I suppose to be certain would be to test it out multiple times however as we all know belief is a tool.

“Under the whole heaven He lets it loose, And His lightning to the ends of the earth.”Job 37:3

In this article I will be delving into what I personally consider to be a rather complex subject, one in which is never scientifically explained.  Weather magic has been written about, this is for certain alongside certain plants to use in order to get said results however I feel that it is akin to a mindless onslaught of halleua crescendos church goers give every Sunday morning.  Please bare with me throughout this article in its structure, I wish to break things down in a manner that is easy to follow however as I have mentioned already the complexity of the subject at hand will make that rather difficult.

I will show however how our emotions (energy in motion), meditation, enlightenment along side of suppression of this energy can lead to an outburst that can lead to rather dramatic events in ones very own environment.  All I can say however is go there for yourself for the naysayers, it is said that belief in ones magical workings is essential and though perhaps this may be true on some level I believe that there is most certainly a scientific explanation for such phenomenon.

First off let us examine what causes lightning, just a quick excerpt I got online. “Lightning is an electric current.  Within a thundercloud way up in the sky, many small bits of ice (frozen raindrops) bump into each other as they move around in the air.  All of those collisions create an electric charge.  After a while, the whole cloud fills up with electrical charges.  The positive charges or protons form at the top of the cloud and the negative charges or electrons form at the bottom of the cloud.  Since opposites attract, that causes a positive charge to build up on the ground beneath the cloud.  The grounds electrical charge concentrates around anything that sticks up, such as mountains, people, or single trees.  The charge coming up from these points eventually connects with a charge reaching down from the clouds and-zap-lightning strikes!”

It is evident then that one of the elements required in order for lightning to occur is friction so therefore it would make sense that inner friction would be required in order for lightning to occur.

As we all know there are protons, particles with a positive charge and there are particles with a negative charge, electrons and as we know static electricity is a form of electricity that is created when an object has too many electrons, giving it a negative charge.  Leaders are a channel of charged air created by excess electrons in a thunderstorm cloud.  A leader reaches from the cloud to the ground below, looking for a positive charge, a return stroke is an electrical charge that travels from the ground to a thundercloud.  This return stroke releases tremendous energy, bright light and thunder.  Streamers are a channel of charged air created by protons on the ground.  They are created when leaders are created and reach from the ground to the sky looking for a leader to connect with.  So as one can see everything has a gender.

As we all know our bodies are composed of both positive and negative charges however if one wishes to give a really big storm as opposed to minute raindrops or nothing at all there must be something built up in all of this, one cannot just cause a massive amount of rain to occur without there being a large amount of energy built up first however lightning is something that is angry as well as storms however there is always a calm before a storm, I will now attempt as best as I can how this energy is built up within the human body.

Once one has awoken the Christ within by way of bhakti and raja yoga (which is an essential element for any real practitioner.)  Energy occurs in many forms, including chemical energy, elastic energy, nuclear energy, and rest energy according to Wikipedia under the section of kinetic energy.  Kinetic energy may be best understood by examples that demonstrate how it is transformed to and from other forms of energy.  For example, a cyclist uses chemical energy provided by food to accelerate a bicycle to a chosen speed.  On a level surface, this speed can be maintained without further work, except to overcome air resistance and friction.  The chemical energy has been converted into kinetic energy, the energy of motion, but the process is not completely efficient and produces heat within the cyclist.

So I would sort of imagine that ones chakras are sort of like this, a bicyclist, the food is prana used to accelerate the storm.  I wish for the reader to think of all of these forms of energy as I go into the “Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.”

So our emotions (energy in motion) created by other people’s actions towards us will produce cittam or impressions in our brains which may be negatively charged in the usual person however the yogi who has mastered meditation can transmute this energy into positive energy until they decide to do otherwise, say when someone is negative towards you and then zap, they will get hit with a storm.  The storm however will not just be any minor storm, it will be an onslaught of the negative emotions they have sent towards you.  The longer you withstand the barrage of attacks however the stronger the storm will be once you go from completely magnetic to negative in only a few seconds, the calm before the storm.

As I have said this is sort of a rather difficult thing to explain, especially to those who have not awoken the Christ within, it will be sort of like someone who is a professional in anything else say a doctor trying to explain a surgery to a mechanic or vise versa, the one will be perplexed and as such unconscious animals will be perplexed by what I am saying, scratching their stupid heads in dumb awe of true spirituality.  However let this article not turn into an assault on most of you unconscious little idiots involved in the occult even, truth is I can’t stand most of you anyways and I’m likely wasting my time even writing this work, I’m not here to make friends however.  I will try to use the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali to show you what I mean by this.

Tat param Pursua khyater gunavaitrsnyam, tat=that; aram =supreme; pursua=true self; khyateh (khyater)=due to the realization; guna=of any of the constituents of nature; vairrsynyam=non-thirst.

Let me break the above down for you however, when there is non-thirst for even the gunas (constituents of Nature) due to the realization of the Purusa (True Self) (I.e. true enlightenment), that is supreme non-attachment (though I must say that even higher than this is not even wanting the bliss of God, that is supreme non-attachment).  In regards to weather magic this means that one should not be attached to the results of the magic one intends to do as well, see it in your mind’s eye and forget about it but feel it in your heart.  More than this though is not even intending to do weather magic in the first place, I think some people are just naturally gifted at certain types of magic.

Now I will get into herbal magic and the science behind this but much more than this I have a theory on certain sigils that could perhaps be linked with herbal magic and this theory is that these sigils are actually comparable to modern science in regards to chemical compound make ups.  I think certain sigils are just that, ancient symbols for chemistry or alchemy. The herbs include the following, bracken, cotton, fern, heather, pansy, rice and toadstool in order to induce rainfall.

Below are some alchemy symbols and chemestry symbols and we all know the word chemestry is derived from the land of Km “the black land.

Perhaps you are wondering how the ancients did this without modern technology (or perhaps they had different technology, something I do not wish to delve into at this moment) however as will be seen later one can get to the core of anything via meditation.  More on plants now however. Remember however in the sutras that one can delve into the very core of anything via meditation.

“Bracken is a masculine herb associated with the planet Mercury also the element of air, the powers of this plant include healing, rain magic and prophetic dreams however I do not personally buy into just simply burning it or placing it beneath a pillow in order to gain results, I think one must tune into the vibrations of the plant in order for it to act as a catalyst or a medium of sorts along with other plants.”

Uncooked bracken contains the enzyme thiaminase, which breaks down thiamine.

All one has to do is start to break down the chemistry symbols of these plants individually and see they are very similar to sigils.  Bracken can be fairly easily broken down however as you can see from the diagram above, there is nitrogen then you have Amidogen which is a radical compound of nitrogen and hydrogen with the formula NH2.  A member of the amino group, it may be regarded as an ammonia molecule which has had one of its hydrogen atoms removed.  NH2 as a functional group is common in nature, as it forms part of many compounds, e.g. the phenethylamines.  The free radical is present in solutions of ammonia because, like water, ammonia undergoes molecular autoisation to form its acid and base conjugates.  This is then linked to another nitrogen, sulfur… now I am not a chemist by any means so I am going to take a stab at OH and take it to mean Oxygen and Hydrogen. The point is it is interesting to see how elements can be added in order to create something so if sigils are similar to spiritual vibrations scribed onto metals or other objects in order to gain certain results then I would say it makes sense that the vibrations of certain molecules are similar and once you add heat to the mixture you begin to activate those spiritual vibrations especially intuned with said spirit especially if it is one of your own making.  Spiritual vibrations are so exact one cannot begin to imagine the complexity of them, imagine a radio where you could tune into almost an infinite amount of stations, each minute turn of the nob or push of the button giving you different results.

“Cotton (Gossypium barbadense) has the powers of luck, healing, protection and fishing magic.  Some magical uses of this include placing a piece of cotton in a sugar bowl in order for good luck to follow along with throwing it over ones right shoulder at dawn.  In the latter it is said that good luck will come before the day is over.  Cotton is associated with the earth element.”

“Cotton plant is a flowering shrub subject to steamy and sub-steamy areas including the places-India, America and Africa.  The maximum variety of natural cotton group is originated in Mexico; tag along Australia and Africa.  Cotton fiber was separately cultivated in the ancient and modern worlds.”

“The English Cotton name derives from the Arabic language, which began to be used approximately around 1400 AD.  Cotton fiber is frequently twisted into a yarn or thread and used to build a soft, natural, flexible and breathable fabric material then it is used for the main purpose of making garments.”

Now here is where things will get a bit more interesting, the chemical composition of cotton is cellulose 91.00%, water 7.85%, protoplasm, pectins 0.55%, waxes, fatty substances 0.40%, mineral salts 0.20%.  I say this is interesting because cellulose is a water bounding agent and one can delve into the complexities of this science and see how all of this is connected.

“Cotton it is said can also be placed in an aching tooth to stop the pain while planting or scattering cotton will keep ghosts away while cotton soaked in vinegar and placed on the windowsill will keep evil at bay.  Once again I must reiterate that it is my personal belief that this is mere nonsense, ones own inside vibrations much match the intention of the external intentions of the magical item in order for it to have any real effect but also one should concentrate on said chakra associated with the planet(s) of the herb while working the magic.  It is also said that cotton is the best kind of cloth to use for making sachets, or for any time cloth is needed in magic.  It is said if you go fishing on a windy day one can take twenty cotton seeds with them, place them at the edge of the water and you shall have at least one bite while it is said that burning cotton causes rain.”

Cellulose is an organic compound with the formula (C
n, a polysaccharide consisting of a linear chain of several hundred to many thousands of β(1→4) linked D-glucose units.[3][4] Cellulose is an important structural component of the primary cell wall of green plants, many forms of algae and the oomycetes. Some species of bacteria secrete it to form biofilms.[5] Cellulose is the most abundant organic polymer on Earth.[6] The cellulose content of cotton fiber is 90%, that of wood is 40–50% and that of dried hemp is approximately 57%.[7][8][9]

Cellulose is mainly used to produce paperboard and paper. Smaller quantities are converted into a wide variety of derivative products such as cellophane and rayon. Conversion of cellulose from energy crops into biofuels such as cellulosic ethanol is under investigation as an alternative fuel source. Cellulose for industrial use is mainly obtained from wood pulp and cotton.[6]

Some animals, particularly ruminants and termites, can digest cellulose with the help of symbiotic micro-organisms that live in their guts, such as Trichonympha. In human nutrition, cellulose acts as a hydrophilic bulking agent for feces and is often referred to as “dietary fiber“.

So I find it interesting something that has the ability to make products that both absorb and keep moisture in would be used for weather magic.

Fern is a masculine plant associated with the planet Mercury and the element of air, the deities include Laka and puck.  The powers of this plant include rain-making, protection, luck, riches, eternal youth, health and exorcism.

The magical uses of fern are said to be used in vases for protection while also commonly planted at the doorstep and also inside the home it is also protective however I do suggest that one lock their doors at night and not to rely solely upon fern as a sort of half cocked security alarm system.

It is said that dried fern is thrown upon hot coals in order to exorcise evil spirits while burned out of doors fern can cause rain to fall.

Heather (Calluna spp; erica spp. Vulgaris) whose folk names include common heather, heath, ling, scottish heather and it is a feminine plant associated with the planet Venus and the element water and the deity Isis.  Powers of this plant include protections, rain-making and luck, the magical uses are also thought to guard against rape and other violent crimes (however if one is scared of being raped or mugged I suggest using some fucking mace or a gun or know some type of self defense) or just to bring good luck.  White heather is the best for this purpose.

The shoots of Calluna vulgaris contain the phenolic compounds chlorogenic acid, its 3-O glucoside, 3-O galactoside and 3-O arabinoside.

It is said that when heather is burned with fern outside it attracts rain and is also thought to conjure ghost.

Pansy (viola tricolor) has the folk names Banewort, banwort (Anglo-Saxon), Bird’s Eye, bonewort (Ango-Saxon), bouncing bet, garden violet, heart’s ease, horse vilent, johnny jumper, johnny jump-ups, kiss-me-at-the-garden-gate, little stepmother, love idol, love-in-idleness, love-lies bleeding, loving ido, meet-me-in-the-entry, pensee (French), stepmother, tickle-my-fancy.  It is a feminine plant associated with the planet Saturn along with the element of water.  Its powers include love, rain magic and love divination.

Rice (oryza saliva) G has the folk names bras, dhan, nirvara and paddy, it is a masculine plant and its “planet” is the sun however holds the element of air.  Its powers include protection, rain, many and fertility.  Its magical uses are said that when placed on the roof, rice guards against all misfortunes.  Brahmins carried rice as an amulet against evil, and a small jar of rice placed near the entrance of the house also guards it.  Throwing rice into the air can cause rain.  Rice is also added to money spells, and is thrown after wedding couples to increase their fertility.

Toadstool has the powers of rain making, accidentally breaking down toadstools will cause rain to fall, but I don’t know if showers occur when this is deliberately done.”

Without having to write an entire book on the subject the point I am trying to make is that rice is not just rice, pansy is not just pansy, etc etc but what I am attempting to show you is why these substances are able to react to stimuli from the Christ within you by being attuned to specific vibrations along with concentraing on the proper chakra in order to syncronize with said plant vibrations.  Weather magic as I have mentioned is something rather complex that involves raising also to the most high but when herbs are involved one must attempt to match the frequency of the plant.  Now I will delve even further into “The Yoga Sutras of Pantanjali” to show you why it is absolutely essential to have awoken the Christ within in order to perform magic.

Vitarka vicaranandasmitanugamat samprajnatah is vitarka=reasoning; vicara=reflecting; ananda=jejoicing; asmita=pure I-am-ness; anugamat=due to the following, from accompaniment; samprajnatah=distinguishing, discerning; [samadhi=contemplation].

“Samprajnata samadhi is accompanied by reasoning, reflecting, rejoicing and pure I-am-ness.

In the first section of this portion, Patanjali gives the theory of Yoga.  Now he speaks of the final practice called samadhi, or contemplation, and its variations.  Patanjali is completely scientific in this respect.  He sees Yoga as a rigorous science and never hesitates to give all the aspects of the practice and their ramifications.  It is the duty of scientists to understand and explain every aspect of their discoveries.  It is just as when chemists formulate medicine.  They have to explain its proper usage as well as any adverse reactions that could occur if not used properly.”

“In case you might think you are ready to practice samadhi right away you should know that the practice of samadhi only becomes possible after a person has achieved perfection in concentration and meditation.  The mind must have acquired one-pointedness and have been brought completely under control, because the entire mind must be used in the practice of samadhi.”

I will try to explain how it feels for me being in one pointedness.  I am able to hit the mark each time without any other thoughts arising, like a pinging of sorts of roaring energy into the divine! Love love love love love love OM OM OM OM OM OM until I just AM.  Once this is achieved then one may have other thoughts in ones mind while being in samadhi, this is another way in which magic is manifested into your reality I feel.  I may also transmute any other type of emotion in order to vibrate my chakras in order to attune to a desire frequency, remember the story of Kashi being reborn?

“In this and the following sutra Patanjali talks about two kinds of samadhi: samprajnata (distinguished) and asamprajnata (undistunguished).  Patanjali further divides the samprajnata samadhi into four forms. To understand them we have to understand the make-up of what he calls nature, or Prakrti.  According to Patanjali, Prakrti also has four divisions:  the very gross material; the subtle elements called the tanmatras, which ultimately express as the concrete forms which you see; the mind-stuff (cittam), and the ego or individuality.”

So the four forms of samadhi can be related to also the four elements found in each one of the herbs, earth element which would be linked to the very gross material, water which would be linked to tanmatras, citta would be linked to air and the ego would or individuality would be linked to fire.

“So, samadhi is practiced first on the gross objects (savitarka samadhi), then on the subtle elements (savicara samadhi), then on the mind devoid of any objects except its own joy-in other words, on the sattvic mind sa-ananda samadhi-and finally on the “I” feeling alone (sa-asmita samadhi).  There is a gradation because you can’t immediately contemplate the very subtle.  First you have to train the mind to focus on something concrete.  When the mind is focused on a concrete object, that is called savitarka samadhi.  Remember that at this point the mind is already well under control.  The moment the purely focused mind contemplates an object, it goes to the very depth of that object and understands every particle of it.  A focused mind gains power, and when that powerful mind concentrates on an object, the entire knowledge of that object is revealed to it.”

This is not something that could be known by just mere words however (as is obvious from above) it will be spiritual intuition which will ultimately guide any student with plant magic, I would even go so far as to say that some plants may be used in a different manner according to each individual’s birth chart since we each plummeted out of the sky with our own spiritual vibrations in accordance to specific galactic alignment and past lives and deaths and individuals.

“Knowing this, we can easily see that the scientists who probed the matter and discovered atomic energy were practicing savitarka samadhi.  They were practical and wanted to know; they focused their entire minds on that, and even that small particle of matter revealed itself.  In getting the knowledge,  we gained power over the atom.  That is what is meant by savitarka samadhi.

So, the benefit of this contemplation is the understanding of the inner secrets and powers of your object of contemplation.  But what will you do with this power?  The danger can easily be realized by seeing how atomic energy has been used for destructive bombs instead of soothing balms.  There is a danger in getting all the extraordinary powers.  If this samadhi is practiced without the proper moral background, the result will be dangerous.  But,  as a scientists,  Patanjali must explain it anyway.”

I can attest to this statement, it is very true if one is enlightened while still being immoral it can be fairly dangerous, one will be walking a fine line on the brink of madness, such phantoms will enter into your mind, a full moon means no sleep for poor little you and you might feel something like you may just be losing your fucking mind which is likely why they burned so many witches in the day, because of lunacy, which obviously stems from the word lunar.

Above is Hypatia was a philosopher in Alexandria. Her knowledge of astronomy and mathematics led to suspicion of sorcery and she was flayed alive by a mob of monks. Nonetheless moving onward with the Yoga Sutras.

“In the next form, you contemplate the tanmatras, or subtle elements.  Here there is no concrete object to see.  You contemplate something abstract like white or red or love or beauty.  Because they are abstract, a normal person cannot understand what redness or love is without the help of a concrete object.  But if you are able to contemplate and understand the concrete objects well, your mind gets the capacity to understand the abstract things even without concrete objects.  Then you rise above time and space also.  This samadhi is called savicara, or with reflection.”

“Further on, we go into the still subtler one in which even the discrimination or reflection is not there.  You don’t use the intellect here, but you contemplate just the tranquil mind itself.  In that you get a joy which is called sa-ananda samadhi, or the blissful samadhi.  There is only joy there and no reasoning or reflection.”

“In the fourth samadhi, even that ananda is not there but just awareness of individuality.  You contemplate the “I-ness.”  You are just there and you are aware of nothing else.  It’s called sa-asmita samadhi, with egoity.  It’s impossible to visualize what that could be, but still, let us understand theoretically at least.  In sa-asmita samadhi, the samskaras are still in the mind in their seed form.  Even though you are only aware of the “I,” the samskaras are still buried in the mind.”

“I believe this to be the best samadhi to use while actually doing magic for it is the impressions which lead to the magic however as I have mentioned I think it is more effective if one reach the highest state first.”

“Samprajnata samadhi is a process of going inward-not evolution, but involution.  Originally,  the world,  or Prakrti, was unmanifested, or avyakta.  When it begins to manifest, the ego comes in first, then the individuality and then the mind.  Then,  from the mind you get into the tanmatras, then the gross elements.  That is the natural evolution.”

“In Yogic meditation we experience the involution.  It could be called the creation and destruction.  But,  actually,  there is nothing created in you; nor is anything destroyed.  As the Bhagavad Gita explains, the unmanifest appears as manifest and then returns to the unmanifest.  What we see outside is the manifested, the in-between.  That is what we call the creation.  That’s why, according to Yoga, we don’t say God created anything.  Yoga says God is just the pure consciousness.  And Prakrti is also there, its nature being to evolve and then dissolve.”

“Prakrti in the unmanifested condition has both matter and force, which are inseparable like fire and heat.  Without fire there is no heat; without heat there is no fire.  When the nature is in an unmanifested condition, the force is dormant or static; for example, when a dynamo doesn’t revolve, no electricity is produced.  But the moment the motor starts rotating, It produces electricity.”

“This force, or prana, has three constituents called the gunas: sattva, rajas and tamas-tranquility, activity and inertia.  When all three qualities are in equilibrium, they do not affect the matter.  But once there is a little disturbance in the gunas, it creates motion in the matter, which gives rise to all kinds of forms.  That is how the entire universe appears, the sky, the earth, the fire, the air and all the elements are created.  So the One that is unmanifested slowly evolves Itself and ultimately we see the concrete forms.”

So now let me relate the three gunas in relation to weather magic.  Tranquility is necessary in order to get into the highest stage of samadhi, motion is created when you think of creating the weather in which you create and the inertia is the weather itself finally in motion, it is a release of the energy in which you have bult up through magnetic and electrical currenets in your own mind.  The magnetic energy draws in the energy created from outside stimuli during tranquility the motion will be a full swing in the opposite direction with electrical energy and the intertia is back to center again once you have finally released this pent up energy.

“Now we are in the concrete world with sattva, rajas and tamas in full swing.  We have to work from what we see now-from the known we work back toward the unknown.  We can’t just ignore the known and directly tackle the unknown.  It is easier to do something with concrete things which we can see, feel, touch and taste.  So that is why the mind is given a concrete object to contemplate first when it has been made tranquil by concentration.  Once it understands that, then it goes a little deeper into the subtle elements, then the still subtler ones, until it reaches the original matter.”

“Unless you understand the Prakrti very well, you can’t get out of it.  You can’t just ignore it or set it aside.  That’s why the four stages of samprajnata samadhi are to be practiced first, one after the other.”

“But there is a danger in samprajnata samadhi also.  It is to be practiced, but we have to face the danger of it.  That is why you have to prepare yourself with purity and selflessness.  Otherwise, you will be in danger with your new-found powers.  Take, for example, Jesus, who was able to heal sick and crippled people.  He used his powers to bring good to others, but he never used the same force to save himself when he was to be crucified.  If he really wanted to, he could have done it, but he didn’t.  That means that these mysterious forces should not be used for selfish purposes.   Once again these things can be used for selfish purposes, the electrical side of the force is the male, penetrating and dominating side and one who does not do proper breathing or asana can still have maligate forms in their very own mind and use them to assimilate them into reality, that is how weather magic is done, these subtle thoughts along with samskaras are still there, the impressions are made manifest into reality”, “ye are Gods.”

Parinama=transformation, alteration, consequence; tapa=anxiety, anguish; samskara=subliminal impression; duhkhaih (duhkhair)=due to pain from the above three; guna=qualities; vrtti=functioning; virodhat (virodhac)=contradiction; ca=and; duhkham=painful; eva=indeed; sarvam=all; vivekinah=to the man of discrimination.

“To one of discrimination, everything is painful indeed, due to its consequences: the anxiety and fear over losing what is gained; the resulting impressions left in the mind to create renewed cravings; and the constant conflict among the three gunas, which control the mind.”

“Here, Patanjali gives a very important sutra and a great truth in the spiritual field.  If we could only contemplate this for at least a little while daily, our lives would be completely transformed.  All experiences are painful for the person of spiritual discrimination.  In this world, all experiences that come from outside through the world, through nature or material things, are ultimately painful.  None can give everlasting happiness.  They may give temporary, but they always end in pain.  Even the enjoyment of our present pleasures is usually painful because we fear its loss.  (Mention using this fear to “grind the gears sort to speak).”

“Imagine you have a high position, appreciated by hundreds of people.  Everybody says you’re a great person.  Gradually you learn to love that position.  “Isn’t it nice to be admired by everybody, to have hundreds of devotees around, thousands of disciples across the country?  This is really fine.”  But a fear might simultaneously come in.  “Suppose I lose this position?  If my disciples leave me one after another, what will happen to me?”  Where is the pleasure in the position then?”

“Or perhaps you accumulate money.  I have seen people who rush to the stock market page as soon as they see a newspaper.  If their stocks rise just once percent over the previous day, they’re ecstatic until they see the next day’s paper.  Toward evening their tension will build up; all night they are restlessly waiting to see the morning’s paper.  Do they really enjoy their money?  No, because they want to possess it.  All our so-called pleasures bring in the fear of losing them.  We might lose our position, our money or our beauty.  There are even people who insure their eyes, noses, earlobes, even fingers and toes.  They become anxious about even touching things.  They are always tense.  It’s all right to have a beautiful face; it’s all right to have anything, as long as you don’t let these things bring you anxiety and fear.  If they come to you, let them come; enjoy their prescence.  But when they go, enjoy their departure too.  When they come, they come alone, so allow them to go alone without losing your mind along with the external object.  Past pleasures are painful because renewed cravings arise from the impressions they leave in the mind.  “Once I had a beautiful car; I don’t know when I’m going to get another like it.”  Whenever you see someone with such a car, it will make you unhappy.  You’ll be reminded of all your old high times.”

“In reality, nothing is bad in this world.  But the three gunas are forever tossing the mind.  What you enjoy one minute, you hate the next.  When you are in a good mood, your children may come and play with you.  But when you are in a terrible mood, you say, “Get out.  Don’t disturb me.”  Real pleasure comes from detaching ourselves completely from the entire world, in standing aloof-making use of the world as a master of it.  Only in that can we have pride.”

“I am not saying that because everything is painful, we should run from it.  That doesn’t work.  Wherever we go, the world follows.  If you don’t understand the world and attempt to run away, you can never succeed.  I have seen people who cannot run their own homes or cooperate with their families say, “I’m disgusted.  I renounce.  I don’t want anything.  I am going into the spiritual field to meditate and practice Yoga.”  You try to run away from family life, but once you come to an asram, you face a while new home and family.  At least in the original family you knew the people, and those people probably had a little consideration for you.  In an asram all the faces are new.  In the beginning there isn’t much  affection   Each person may have his or her own problems.  so when you can’t adapt yourself to your known family, how can you expect to adapt to an unknown group?  A known devil is much better than an unknown one.”

“Whereever we are, we have to learn to handle things properly.  We can’t always change environments, running here and there.  But once we know how to handle one small family, we can handle a larger group.  A family life is a training place for public life.  If you can’t face a sharp word from your mate, how can you face such words from a stranger?  The world is a training place where we learn to use the world without getting attached.  Instead of saying, “To one of discrimination, everything is pleasurable.”  A person with such an understanding has the magic wand to convert everything into happiness.  Pleasure and pain are but the outcome of your approach.  The same world can be a heaven or a hell.”

“The way to begin, though, is with the feeling, “It is all painful.  Let me detach myself.  Let me not become involved in it.  Let me not approach the world with selfish motives.”  Once this is accomplished, you see with a different vision.  You begin to use the world for a different purpose, and you experience happiness.  Before you learn to swim, water seems to be a dreadful place.  “Suppose I drown?  What will happen to me?”  But once you learn to swim, you love the water.  The world is like that.  You have to learn to swim in this ocean of samsara-to become a master swimmer.”

So in all of these experiences which are baraging you from the outside world can be painful you can take in all of these experiences wither they are imagined or real, it is all energy which creates emotion and emotion is simply energy in motion, you can transmute all of these energies into whatever you desire so I would say discrimination falls into the realm of weather magic in regards to allowing these things to occur so ultimately you can get your manifested desire.  You transmute all of the anxiety and the anguish into a torrent of electrical and magnetic energy in the impression you imprinted into your brain which you can imagine as a storm cloud forming over head you can manipulate the qualities in nature which are merely only the qualities in you by thinking “they hate me” transmute this into love, “they are all against me” they all love me, a sort of pushing off if you will, one needs to exist for the other, there can be no light without darkness and vise versa, even fear can be transmuted into courage, the fear of loosing what is gained, cravings, all of these emotions can be transmuted into higher spiritual states.

Prakasa kriya sthitisilam bhutendriyatmakam bhogapavagartham drsyam.  Prakasa=illumination; kriya=activity; sthiti=inertia; silam=nature, characteristic; bhuta=elements; indriya=sense organs; atmakam=consists of, having that nature; bhoga=experience; apavarga=liberation; artham=purpose; drsyam=the seen.

“The seen is of the nature of the gunas:  illumination, activity and inertia; and consists of the elements and sense organs, whose purpose is to provide both experiences and liberation to the Purusa.

“Now Patanjali talks about the drsya, or seen.  Atma or Purusa or the Seer all denote the same entity, the true you.  You become a knower because there is a known.  You become a seer because there is something to see.  Here Patanjali tries to analyze what this “seen” is that gives us experience.  He says it is a combination of different elements and organs controlled by the three gunas.  He uses the terms prakasa kriya sthiti.  Prakasa means illumination and stands for sattva.  Iriya is action and represents rajas.  Sthiti is inertia, or tamas.  Why are there these outside things which we see?  Why does Prakrti exist?”

“Nature is here to give you experience and ultimately, to liberate you from its bondage.  Even if people do not want to be liberated, it educates them gradually so that one day they will come to feel, “I’m tired of the whole thing.  I don’t want it anymore.  I’ve had enough.”  When will we feel this way?  Only after we’ve gotten enough kicks and burns.  The purpose of Prakrti is to give you those knocks.  So, we should never condemn nature.”

“Nature is a combination of elements and organs.  The organs include the intellect, mind, senses and the body.  Normally, we think of nature as being something other than our own bodies, but when we feel we are the true Self even the body becomes part of the nature because it, again, is merely a composition of the elements.  If we don’t eat, there will be no body.  A baby comes out as six or seven pounds of flesh, and even that weight is built up in the womb by the mother’s food.  The food materials which create the body are just part of nature.  Even the mind, senses and intellect are part of nature, although a very subtle part.  They are matter and that’s why they change.  Anything that is matter, or nature, changes.  The body changes every second.  Cells die; more are born.  Likewise, there is continuous change in the mind and intellect.”

“Nothing in nature can bring the mind continuous, unchanging happiness, because the mind itself changes constantly.  Although we have the same stomach, we don’t want to eat the same food every day.  Although we wear the same shape, we don’t wear the same outfit every day.”

“The secret of our wanting changes is that the mind changes.  If it were always the same, why would it look for change?  If we know that, we can just allow things to change without clinging to them.  If something changes, we should let it go-something else will come.  We should watch the changes like passing clouds.  But, normally, we don’t want to merely watch them.  We want to hold onto a section without letting go.  Then the tension comes in.  Changes are like flowing water.  If you just allow water to flow, it is very pleasant to sit and watch.  But if you want to arrest the flow and keep the water for yourself, you will have to construct a damn.  Then the water will resist the dam and try to escape(good metaphor for weather magic here.)  There will be a terrible struggle.  Although you may stop some of the water, another portion will overflow.  So you must allow for spill-out or the dam will certainly break.”

However weather magic means building up a damn, you bring in conflict and you do not allow the water to flow, you keep on speaking your mind allowing others to condemn you or perhaps some other type of other action that creates stimuli however you do not lash out, you transmute those negative vibrations into positive energy until eventually the damn breaks and there is a flash flood to unleash a torrent of energy.

“All life is a passing show.  If we want to hold it, even for a minute, we feel tension.  Nature will try to run away; we will try to pull it back and keep it.  When we want to keep it, we put up barriers which ultimately cause us pain.”

As is evident here it is obvious that by holding onto something, I.e. anger it will cause tension which will in turn create a storm.

“Even with our own bodies, if we don’t want them to change, trouble will come.  We will buy all kinds of make-up, creams and wigs to retain our “youth.”  If only we learn to enjoy each change, we can recognize the beauty even in aging.  A ripe fruit has its own beautiful taste.  When we just allow things to pass, we are free.  Things will just come and go while we retain our peace.”

“Swami Vivekananda tells a story from Hindu mythology.  At one time Indra, the king of the gods, was forced to descend from his high position and take the body of a pig.  Pigs, as you know, live in mud.  So Indra got into the mire, rolled around and eventually found a female pig with whom he mated.  The outcome of their love was a number of young piglets.  They were all very happy.  But the gods in heaven, seeing the plight of their king, were horrified.  When the gods could no longer tolerate it, they came down and said, “You are Indra, our king.  What are you doing here?  We are ashamed of your present habits.”

Indra replied, “Who says I am unhappy like this?  You live up there and say I don’t have a happy life here.  What fools you are.  You should become pigs.  Then you’d really appreciate the joy of it.  Come on.  Don’t waste another minute.  Get into pigs’ bodies.  Then you’ll see how wonderful it is.’

“Sir,” the devas (gods) said, “we can’t let you go on like this.  You must come out.”

“Don’t disturb me,” Indra replied.  “I have to take care of my young ones.  They are waiting for me to play with them.”

The devas went wild.  “All right,” they decided.  “Since he’s so attached to his children, we’ll have to take them all away.”  One after another they killed the piglets.  Indra began crying and wailing.

“What are you doing?”  When he calmed down, he went to the she pig and clung to her, saying, “All right.  I’ll just have more babies.”  But the devas were adamant.  They pulled the she-pig from Indra and killed her.  When Indra continued to moan and cry, they decided to get rid of his body as well.  As soon as they pierced open his pig body, Indra’s soul came out and looked in amazement at the dead boy on the ground.

“Not only were you in that body, sir, but you wanted to stay there.”

“I don’t want any more of this,” Indra said.  “Come.  Let’s go back.”

“That is how nature works.  As long as we enjoy experiencing nature, no matter what those who understand the truth tell us, we will answer, “Oh, you just don’t know how to enjoy the world.  You don’t have enough education, enough money, enough power.  You people come from your poor country and tell us nonsense.  You want us to become beggers also.  Get out.  We want to enjoy all our luxuries.”  And because the enlightened can’t tear out your pig’s body, rip up your checkbooks and finish up your bank balance, they say, “We’ll wait.  One day you’ll learn your lesson.”  When all the entanglements tie you down, when you see you have no room to move about any longer, then you will realize the truth of their words.”

“All these entanglements are like the life of the silk moth.  Silk yarn is a sort of fleshy, pulpy substance that comes out of the silk moth.  When the moth is just a day old, it is the size of a hair.  You can have more than a hundred worms within the space of a thumb.  The next day, you’ll need the palm of your hand to accommodate them.  On the third day, you’ll need the palm of your hand to accommodate them.  On the third day, you’ll need a large tray.  Within thirty days, each worm is thicker than a thumb and over three inches long.  They grow so big within such a short time because they do nothing but eat mulberry leaves.”

“The first day, all hundred worms can feed on a single leaf.  The second, a basketful of leaves is needed.  The third, a cartload.  The fourth, a truckload.  Day and night they consume the leaves.  The more they are given, the more they take.  After thirty or forty days they are so tired they can no longer eat.  Then they sleep, as anyone who overeats does.  When people go to sleep on a full stomach, they roll about, this way and that, as digestion is carried on.  So the worms roll, and while they roll, a juicy type of saliva comes out of their mouths.  All that the worms ate comes out as a stream of thick paste, which forms silk thread.  While the worms rotate they become bound up in the thread-the silk cocoon.  When all the thread has come out, the worms go into a deep sleep wherein they know nothing.”

“Finally, they awaken to see themselves caught in the tight cage created by their own saliva.  “What is this?” The worms think.  “Where am I?  How did this happen?”  Then they remember.  “We ate and ate.  We enjoyed everything we could, without exception.  We overindulged and became completely exhausted, then totally unconscious.  We rolled around and around, binding ourselves up in this cocoon.  What a terrible thing.  We should have at least shared what we had with others.  We were completely selfish.  People of wisdom spoke a lot about a selfless life of sacrifice, but we never listened, nor followed their advice.  The moment they stopped speaking, we started eating again.  All those wise words came in one way and out the other.  We are paying for our mistakes now.  Well, we repent for all our sins.”

“The worms repent, pray and fast.  In their deep meditation they resolve all their unconscious impressions and decide not to live a selfish life again; in the future, they will discriminate before accepting anything.  At this decision two wings appear on either side of each worm-one named viveka (discrimination), the other vairagya (dispassion).  These are combined with a sharp, clear intellect, which turns into a sharp nose to pierce open the cocoon.  With that, the worms-now silk moths-slip out and fly up high with their fantastically colored wings and look back to see their discarded prisons.  “We are leaving and we’ll never come back to that again.”

“There is a beautiful lesson in this story.  We should ask ourselves, “Where are we now?  Are we still eating?  Are we in the cocoon?  Are we meditating?  Are we growing wings?”  Let us ask that question, and if we find ourselves still in the process of consuming, it is better to stop and dispose of what we have already taken in.  The more we enjoy, the more we are bound.  While enjoying, we are not going to listen to wisdom unless we have extraordinary intelligence.  If we don’t want to listen, nature teaches us her lesson by putting us into a tight corner.  She binds us tight to reveal her nature so we will no longer cling to that.  In other words, she liberates us.”

“After liberation, although we are still in nature, we are no longer bound by it.  It is as if we acquire nice thick rubber gloves which allow us to touch any voltage without damage.  Like a silk moth’s wings, these gloves are viveka and vairagya.  When you possess them, you can touch anything and no harm will come to you.”

“When you’ve learned nature’s lessons, she no longer has any business with you, but she continues to exist to teach the many others who have not yet learned.  You have passed out of the university.  You might still go in as an alumnus, just to see how the people are faring, but you are no longer attached.  A liberated person can come into the world and be useful to it but is not affected by it.”

So you have been getting beat up by the world but in your mind you have just sort of been detached from all what is happening, the normal person may see this as a sort of mental disorder, perhaps they think that you are running away from the world, ignoring things that are happening, allowing you to perhaps be a door mat but little do they know that all the energy they throw at you you are actually storeing up for an attack which can come in a sudden outburst of energy followed by an outburst of energy via the weather.  In psychology this is known as repression which is why I mentioned earlier why weather magic can be so dangerous, it is a sort of repression which creates pressure that will eventually burst.

Visesavisea lingamatralingani guna parvani.

Visea=specific; avisea=non-specific; linga=mark, defined; matra=only; alingani=without mark, undefinable, primary, undetectable matter; guna=qualities; parvani=stages.

“The stages of the gunas are specific, non-specific, defined and undefinable.”

“Here, Patanjali analyzes Prakrti a little more.  He divides all of nature into four stages.  Going in reverse order from the way Patanjali expresses them, first there is the unmanifested, or avyakta, stage which is nature in a static or undefinable condition.  A slightly manifested stage (defined) is next.  The third is a more developed stage where nature forms into the subtle senses, buddhi and mind.  And the fourth stage is the gross objects, which we can hear, feel, see, touch, smell and taste.”

“Normally, we only understand things we can see.  However, if we develop a subtler perception we can also see the subtler things.  For instance, we can see a flower, but we can only sense a smell, rather than see it.  Even the smell is matter, although very subtle; and, if we have developed subtle enough perception, we can see it emanating like a magnetic force.  Although each individual has an aura, we normally see bodies but not their auras, the colors of their astral bodies.  But we can develop the subtle senses to see them.”

So we must attempt in meditation to get to the highest level, the unmaifested stage where we are just pure IAMNESS, om om om om om, pure energy rolling off your skin like a tidal wave of divine bliss.  One has to reach this stage in order to throw a lightenin bolt however I think it is in the third stage where there are impressions in the mind, vibrations of what it is you desire to achieve and is in a since goetia or low magic which will indeed effect objects in which we can hear, feel, see, touch, smell and taste.  This is the same sort of magic which is used to understand animals such as birds or bards, I have used the goetia to do such things and I have to say its pretty creepy actually because the mind hears the bird how it normally is but deep down in the more sublte areas these vibrations are attuned to the birds nature, this is magic by all definitions and I am happy to have had such an experience though it has only been a couple of times.  If you have the chance to seek spiritual enlightenment I recommend trying this sort of thing, it will blow your mind.

Atitanagatam svarupato’styadhvabhedaddharmanam.

Atita=past, gone by; anagatam=future, not yet come; svarupatah=in its own form; asti=it exists; adhava=conditions, course, orbit, path; bhedat=from the difference; dharmanam=of characteristics.

“The past and future exist in the real form of objects which manifest due to differences in the conditions of their characteristics.”

“This is to say things are always changing, tranquility, motion and inertia however the object has not been the only thing that has changed, your mind has changed also and how you perceived an object a month ago will be different how you are perceiving it a year from then but nothing has really changed, it has only merely changed because the vibrations or frequencies have changed within it, you and the environment, all of these things share the experience together simultaneously.”

Te=they [ the characteristics]; vyakta=manifest; suksmah=subtle; guna=primal force, primary attributes: sattvas, rajas, tamas; atmanah=having nature (of).

“Whether manifested or subtle, these characteristics belong to the nature of the gunas.”

“So from this sutra we can see that all of nature belongs to the gunas, this is why I have included the gunas in this discussion on weather magic, they belong to everything however I wished to merely show you the connection of nature with your body and mind along with your intellect and how one may tweak the outcome of nature by going into the subtle areas of your brain which are really connected to goetia spirits, low magic stars trapped in elements besides the ones in which we know on this planet, perhaps the ether perhaps something else, some scientist call this dark energy so perhaps dark energy is just negative spirits that have passed on full of negative electrical energy.”

Parinama=transformation, alteration; ekatvat=due to oneness, from uniformity; vastu=think, real object; tattvam=that-ness, reality.

“The reality of things is due to the uniformity of the gunas’ transformations.”

“So if the reality in which we see is due to the uniformity of the gunas transformations and since the gunas’ are apart of our minds then I would have to conclude that if we are able to manipulate our minds we are also able to manipulate nature by the positive and negative forces which exist as long as we are able to build up enough fuel for the fire sort to speak.”

Tatah krtarhanam parinamakramasamapitirgunanam.

Tatah=then; krta=having fullfilled, done; arthanam=purposes (of); parinama=transformation, transition; krama=sequence, succesion; samaptih=terminate, end; gunanam=of the primal attributes (all three-sattvas, rajas and tamas).

“Then the gunas terminate their sequence of transformations because they have fulfilled their purpose.”

“This is a beautiful sutra to understand.  The three gunas (sattva, rajas and tamas ) constantly intermingle; and, thus, Prakrti functions.  Why should they do this; or, in other words, why does nature function?  The nature functions to give experience to the reflected Pursua.  (In other words, the mind.  The scriptures sometimes say Purusa itself, but the meaning is the Pursua reflected upon the mind-stuff.”

“Unfortunately, the Prakrti, of which our mental mirror is made, is itself made up of the three gunas, so it is not always the same.  It’s a sort of psychedelic mirror.  Occasionally it is straight, but most of the time it moves around.  If you stand in front of it, you see yourself as constantly changing.  You forget the truth, because you see it so rarely; whereas, the ugly image is almost constant.  You mistake yourself to be the changing images and say, “Oh, I am terribly ugly; I am terribly  unhappy; I am terribly this or that.”  You put yourself in the position of the image.  So, the duty of Prakrti is to torture the soul in every way until it really gets enough knocks and bumps.”

“Then, at one point, the soul says, “No; I cannot be affected by all this.  I should stay away.”  When this understanding comes, the soul renounces the world.  “I don’t want you anymore, because the minute I come you simply put me into difficult situations.  You never allow me to be quiet.  Now and then you give me a little happiness, but you seem to be bringing me mostly unhappiness.”  That is what is called sannyasa, or renunciation.  “I don’t want.”

“Why do people come to my talks?  Because they don’t want to be in the nightclubs; they don’t want Miami Beach; they don’t want Las Vegas.  The very fact they want to be at the talks means they don’t want the other things out there.  Why?  They’ve had enough.  As the previous sutra says, when the soul detaches itself, there’s no more impurity for it.”

“And then what happens to Prakrti?  I will give an analogy to explain it.  Imagine a mama with a number of children.  They all go out to play and get dirty.  When they return, totally covered with grime, she puts them into the bathtub and turns on the shower.  Of course, she can’t clean everybody at the same time, so she washes them one by one.  Once a baby is clean, what will she do with it?  She takes it out of the tub and says, “Go, get dry and hop into bed.”  Will she stop working?  No.  There are still more dirty children in the tub.  Mother Prakrti is just like that.  She stops functioning with the clean child.”

“Okay, you are clean.  Go, and don’t come to me again.  My job is over with you.  But I still have a lot of work to do with other children.”  That is what is meant in this sutra.  Prakrti-the qualities and their continuous transformations-stop their action on the free soul because they have fulfilled their purpose.  They have given enough experience to the Purusa.”

So here I must perhaps give the parable in the bible in regards to a sower went out to sow, so on and so forth.  Perhaps you are familiar with it, you know the one where one sowed the seeds on stone, one sowed the seeds umongst thorns and thistles and the other sowed the seeds on good ground, here lets look it up real quick.

Luke 8:5

5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. (This is where most are sorry to say it but it’s the truth.)

6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.(This is sort of me now unfortunately however I still maintain a fair ammount, also I cheat at breathing which has led me to a fair amount of insanity.)

8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.  (This is where I was at the hight of my spiritual development, one must reach this state to do any real magic.)

9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. (Om)

12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil (maya), and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.(This is almost everyone.)

14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. (This is sort of me)

15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.(Such as the great masters such as Paramahansa Yogananda)

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21

The ones who have reached Luke 8:15 are the ones who have gotten enough bumps from nature, they do not desire anything of the world any longer, only to love and be loved by God, nothing more and I can assure you most all things are vanity in life besides loving God.  I am not saying that there are not things in life that are not enjoyable, life can have its enjoyable moments however for the most part these things will bring pain, theres no denying it, its nature and as we have seen there is only one way to escape nature and that is to surpass the gunas.

Ksana=moments; pratiyogi=dependent existence, partnership, uniterrrupted succession; parinama=transformation, transition; aparanta=other end, final end; nirgrahyah=graspable, recognizable; kramah=sequence.

“The sequence [referred to above] means an uninterrupted succession of moments which can be recognized at the end of their transformations.”

“These are ephephonies relized in meditation, it is sort of like the popping of a bubble sort to speak, a removal of citta, replacing heavy vibrations with new ones however you realise you can always go higher.  Weather magic (all magic) works in the same way, you know you have done something in your mind, you reach the end of a sequence and you believe in its work.”

Purusarthasunyanam gunanam pratiprasavah kaivalyam svarupa pratishtha va citisakter iti.

“”Purusa=Self, pure consciousness; artha=purpose, meaning; (Purusartha=the four purposes of the human:  artha, kama, dharma and moksa);  sunyanam=devoid of, loss of existence, of being zero; gunanam=of the primal attributes (sattvas, etc.); pratiprasavah=reabsorb, involution, recede, return back in reverse; kaivalyam=absolute freedom, independence; svarupa=its own nature, own form; pratistha=settles, established; va=or; citi=pure consciousness; sakteh=of its power; iti=thus, the end.””

“Thus, the supreme state of Independence manifests while the gunas reabsorb themselves into Prakrti, having no more purpose to serve the Purusa.  Or [to look from another angle]the power of pure consciousness settles in its own pure nature.”

“Patanjali does not mean here that the gunas and Prakrti are really different.  But we use the term Prakrti when the gunas are not manifesting separately.  When the gunas manifest, Prakrti functions with the Purusa.  Once that job is over, the gunas withdraw their action from that Purusa.  Or you can put it another way:  “The power of pure consciousness settles in its own pure nature.”  That means that when the gunas withdraw, finishing their job, the Purusa-having gotten completely cleaned-stops running around.  It is settled.  It is happy in its own true nature.  It is no longer seeking happiness and peace from outside because it realizes it is happiness personified.

“Now, if we go all the way back to the very beginning of the Yoga Sutras, the second sutra in the first Book says, “Yogas’ citta vrtti nirodhah.”  “Restraint of the modifications of the mind-stuff is Yoga.”  The third sutra is “Tadadrastuh svarupe’vasthanam.”  “Then the Seer rests in its own state.”  The entire four books are the explanations of these two sutras.  Citta vrtti nirodhah is the practice.  Svarupevasthanam is the experience.  That’s why he again talks about the experience at the end.  “You just rest in your own true nature.  You have played your games, you have gotten all your experiences and now you are resting.”  By resting, Patanjali means that the true you is resting while your body and mind function.”

“It’s not that your body and mind necessarily rest always.  They have to continue to fulfill the jobs for which they were created.  According to the prarabda, a momentum has been created like a wheel that has been set in motion.  You gave a push earlier and the body and mind are facing that now as prarabda.  When you attain the jivanmukta state, the pushing hand is taken away, but the wheel won’t stop immediately.  It will continue until the momentum is lost.  While the momentum continues, you just rest and watch what is happening as a witness.  It’s like an old grandpa watching the children but not being affected by them.”

“In one sense, you are the witness;  in another, you are the actor.  It depends on where you put yourself.  In reality, you are the witness, but if you miss the reality, you are the actor.  When you become the actor you are responsible for your actions.  When you are the witness you are not responsible for your actions because you are not acting.  So, either act and be responsible, or allow the mind and body to act and be a witness, totally free.”

“”If the body and mind do something wrong, they will undergo certain sufferings.  If my mind wants to push my finger into the fire, I am watching.  My mind is pushing my finger into the fire.  But because I am watching and not doing anything, that doesn’t mean the finger won’t get burned or that the mind won’t feel the agony of it.  When the mind cries, “It got hurt,” I must still watch that.  The finger got hurt; the mind is suffering.”

“But, normally, Yogis do actions only for the sake of others.  They are not affected by these actions they are not doing anything for their own sake.  Whatever the outcome, it goes to somebody else.  Karma Yoga-selfless service without personal expectation-is done by the mind.  In fact, it is the mind that does all Yoga practice, not the real you.  That’s why we rarely even talk about the true you.  You can leave the real you alone.  It is the image-you or the ego-you that needs Yoga.  It is to the ego that the teaching is given.  “If you want to be quiet and happy, perform actions for others’ sake.”  No scripture is necessary for the true Self.  The entire practice is for the ego or lower self, the individual self.”

Above is sort of the non attachment I am speaking of in regards to weather magic, “do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,” sort to speak.

“So, let the lower self or ego or citta free itself from its egoistic activity.  Then, it can also rest in peace, reflecting the Self.  The mind need not always be functioning; and even if it is functioning, it can function peacefully and joyfully.  Then it won’t be a burden for the mind to function.  When a Yogi performs something, he or she enjoys it.  It’s a play-a game-to act.  Scriptures talking of the Self are just for the sake of our intellectual understanding.  But the practical truth for the ego is very simple.  Just learn to be selfless.  Learn to lead a dedicated life.  Whatever you do, do it for others.  The dedicated every enjoy peace.  That’s the reason I really don’t speak about the scriptures very much.  My students wanted to make a book about the Yoga Sutras, so I have said all this.  But for myself, I feel we don’t really need scriptures.  The entire life is an open book, a scripture.  Read it.  Learn while digging a pit or chopping some wood or cooking some food.  If you can’t learn from your daily activities, how are you going to understand the scriptures?”

“In conclusion, it is my sincere wish and prayer that each one of you experience the peace and joy of Yoga through the help and grace of the great Yoga adept Patanjali Maharsi and that you all attain the supreme achievement to which his Yoga Sutras point.  May you go beyond mere book knowledge and attain realization through purity of heart in your very lives.”

So I have sort of been writing this all out for the reader to be able to sort things out a bit for themselves, I wrote some things that were perhaps completely irrelevant in the article, I included some sutras that were perhaps not necessary however I just really wish to show how nature, motion, emotion, vibrations in the atoms of plants, planets along with all of creation can help to manifest desired results from within.

About the art of magickal memory and a recount of my personal “previous incarnations”

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law

Some certain knowledge i have achieved through the study of different esoteric and occult paths is that Time as is conceived in our planet is not a real fact. It is all an illusion that is a rule of this experience we are having being incarnated. But, the true is that time is not like this… In fact time is not a line not a plane time happens all “at the same time”… Past, present and future all happens simultaneously … So i know that already this body i am using and enjoying now through the senses it is already my future, present or past putrid corpse, it is at the same time only dust in the wind as well, and even is me being a baby, and also is me being someone else experiencing another “life” in another “timeline”.

The art of memory however is something very captivating and very mysterious. It s something also fundamental in the magickal training, as a way to get to know best our own path as souls; despite some people think that being interested in knowing about the “previous” incarnation experiences is something futile.

We all, being nothing less nothing more than a manifestation of infinity, in it’s displaying of the process of creation of the universe it self , and therefore , all come form the same source of existence that is the Fire that burns in every heart of everyone of us: “Hadit”, and fulfilling the eternal body of the boundless space: “Nvit” (in thelemic knowledge), evolve through different “successive” experiences of that process which constantly changes to become something new “every time”, and to naturally achieve the consummation of all the infinite possibilities; hence, with no end possible. And it gets a even more complex if we consider the multi dimensions and multi- universes.

Aleister Crowley, described this process of the manifestation of the universe, as a “chain of necessity”, and according to his theory on the subject, by training the magical memory one will be able to evolve achieving the dissolution of the ego as emancipation of one’s true Self, that also it leads us to the acquisition of the true Will, which is manifested in every event of the existence; and that is Hadit, the fire that is our true Will.

While being incarnated we have the sensation of separateness of me being me, and you you being you, but ultimately the only reality is that: I am You, You are me and all we are One: being Hadit, living multiple experiences, evolving infinitely, through this chain of incarnations which happens at His Will.

These thoughts of Crowley about reincarnation and magical memory are exposed in “Liber Thirshab” (appearing the Equinox)and in Magick in Theory and Practice Book 4, chapter VII. He considered that the acquisition of this special skill it was fundamental to the attainment of the grade of Magister Templi of the A.´.A.´., consequently something very important in the task of “crossing the Abyss”. But how can be remembering the one’s previous lives important to conquer this fundamental task of the initiated? The answer is simple: Once we can identify our self with another being, another person, that we recognise we were in some point in time, the Ego that is our vehicle in this moment will be something not so important and not so determinant.  It will loose his predominance over our self identification and allows us to see beyond this mask we are wearing. The Ego is forged through the personal experiences, environment, even DNA prints and events that absolutely differs from a life from another.

In Magick in Theory and Practice chapter VII we found the following:

“There is no more important task than the exploration of oneís
previous incarnations.1 As Zoroaster says: ìExplore the River of the
Soul, whence, or in what order you have come.î”

ìLiber Thisharbî describes a method of obtaining the Magical
Memory by learning to remember backwards. But the careful practice
of dh ārā na is perhaps more generally useful

Have it, if you
will, that the memories of other incarnations are dreams; but
dreams are determined by reality just as much as the events of the
day. The truth is to be apprehended by the correct translation of the
symbolic language. The last section of the Oath of the Master of the
Temple is: ìI swear to interpret every phenomenon as a particular
dealing of God with my soul.î The Magical Memory is (in the last
analysis) one manner, and, as experience testifies, one of the most
important manners, of performing this vow”.

So, by remembering past lives we can loss the importance of our current ego and we can gain the most important identification with our own Soul.

Hever Castle in Kent England.

Now i want to share with my readers my own memories on what i feel were my previous incarnations.

I have to start telling that being a child, even a baby, i was in total confusion and frustration because i felt like suddenly my life changed and i rejected stubbornly this incarnation for about my first 6 years. I firmly believed that i was in fact another girl in other time, in other far land. I remembered quite well the place that it was my home, with special features of the surrounding landscape. I remembered as well even the interior of the place that was a special beautiful building. I remembered quite well the fashion of the time and something remarkable was to be very familiarised with men wearing white wigs as in the “House of Commons” of which i have not idea by that time. The most impressive of my memories was a scene in which i was looking my own self in front of a mirror, while a woman was brushing my hair in a room. Also i used to speak using English words to my family and i can remember they were impressed that i could do so. English language was very easy to me to learn and understand since young age.

To me it was very difficult and even painful to accept that i was not there and i even developed a kind of aversion to the conditions of my “new life” and i used to cry, and i could say even used to, hate. Something very weird it was that i felt deep connected with a painting that it was in my grand parents house the place i lived in during my early years this life. The painting representing a young boy as a student with a mild smile in his lips and a wide sweet gaze; i remember i spent hours near to him looking at his eyes. This painting (a very good reproduction) that still today is at my grand father house it was bought by an aunt the same year that i was born, from a street seller who could not tell her about the name or the artist. In some way i felt like the painting was connected to my previous life. Finally i reached the age of 6 years old and i had to overcome the memories and i knew it was time to bury them deep in the ground. The sensation was to give up.

Le Jeune Eléve by Francois Hubert Drouais

Since that age i truly forgot all about it, till one day that memories just popped up into my consciousness again. It was November 3 of 2013 i can remember quite well because it was the 3rd birthday of my son. I was drinking a glass of wine and sharing a nice conversation with my boyfriend of that moment, which is a British man. I felt the need to share with him my memories, without no reason it was something spontaneous. I described to him the place that i remembered to be my home and also the special specific features of the surrounding landscape. To my surprise he left his guitar aside and started typing in the computer while saying tome:

– I know the place you are talking about!…

My instantly reaction was:

– No way dude!!! That is impossible!

Suddenly he shown me in the Google page photos of a Castle in England. And the special features of the surrounding landscape that i remembered in my childhood, were there. In a second i was crying!! It was even something i could not digest, my eyes were crying automatically, it was definitely the same place without a doubt. I also saw his eyes he was actually crying. For sure, the only time i see that man shedding a tear.

It was something really shocking and perturbating to me i was just astonished, bewildered. I had enough with knowing that the place i remembered as my home was in fact real and still on feet. I did not want to know more about it, but my stubborn ex, decided to research and dig deeply following his own will. So he sent me on the next days a lot of information and documents that lead me to get actually, what to me is beyond doubts my real identity in my immediately previos incarnation. My first reaction anyway, was to reject all what he presented to me. I asked him to please stop sending me information that i was not asking for. I told him that he could not be sure of my identity since he don’t had my memories, that were someting totally mine and very personal. He even sent me photos of the family he was sure i was part; he based his theory on real facts about one of the remarkable special features of the surounding of the Castle, a special attraction of it that i remember quite well because it was a favourite place of mine to play in, and it was not built till the year of 1902. That clue gave him the certeinty of the of the knowledge of the owners of the Castle in that years.

Despite my inquire to stop his investigation and leave things in peace, he did not, and finally he sent me a photo of a girl, saying:

– This was you! Now you can be sure. You saw yourself in the mirror… you cannnot say is not you!

– I almost fall in swoon…

In fact it was me…It was the same face in the mirror that i remembered being a child. That was a total nuclear bomb in my brain.

I could not think, i could not say anything, i was so upset with him for not stop his investigation and at the same time i was very surprised. Plus, all the information he sent me was very impressive and mysterious. My previous life’s family was in fact a very important family of their time, both in the United States of America and in the UK. There are so many refferences to them in the internet, and that is the reason also of having a lot of images and documents at dispossal about them. All the history about them is more than amazing and also my personal experience as part of that family. During that incarnation i lived things that can seem to be fantastic and is my will to write a book with all the details about it in the future.

The true is that after the day when the memories appeared again in my mind i started to have a serie of events and synchronisations that led me to pay attention to that new knowledge of my past life. Even when i really wanted to not to do it and not think on it anymore. It was like me saying: Well Ruby, let this things like this and forget it all!… and then something weird happened, a dream, a vision, a synchronisation with facts and names and even personal experiences with this life and the previous one that not allow me to bury the knowledge of this at all.

Even before this situation happened i was actually very interested in the reincarnation due my studies on oriental philosophies and religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism. During dreams i had visions since young age of me being in Ancient Egypt as a woman in the temples. The Egyptian iconography was very relevant to me since i can remember. And my immediately previos incarnation led me to get the knowledge as well of my past lives in Egypt as Princess and Priestess during the kingdom of Akhenaten.

During the early 2000’s i was at one of my friends home and she was looking for some music to put in a cassette player that were available to use by that time, she found some cassettes, and one of them was a hypnosis session by a recognised doctor called Brian Weiss. He developed a system through hypnosis by which the person is able to access memories of previous incarnations. We were very intrigued and decided to run the cassette. During that session i was able to access memories of a previous life being a man in Italy in the middle age, living as a farmer in a Feudal state. My name was Lucca. It was lovely to get to know it. It was a lovely peaceful life.

Helen of Troy (artist unknown to me)

Later and though the same method i got visions of other past lives and in one of them i saw myself being what i am almost sure to be the mythical character of Helen of Troy. By the method of that specific hypnosis (i know this doctor has different ways to induce the memories) one is able to know the time, the geographical position, and descend from above to the body which was the one we were incarnated in. So I saw my self descending to the body of a spectacularly stunningly beautiful young woman with soft curls honey color hair and greenish eyes; i saw my self in her body, i was in a white terrace with two women with black hair we all dressed in white dresses. I knew the women were my assistants but i also knew they were taking care of me in order to not let me runaway. We were under the sun watching the horizon and the turbulent sea. My feeling was of a deep sadness for not being with my beloved one.

To conclude i just want to say that as Crowley himself taught, even if the memories of past lives are nothing but a kind of dream, they are worth to be studied in order to get to know one true self and soul evolution.

Love is the Law Love under Will

A message from a Remote past – Far distance future (in a lucid dreaming experience)

Fading Clock by Dephtdweller in

In October 2016 i went to sleep one night as always,  and it happened that during the moment of being lucid and fall asleep,  i saw my self in only few seconds in a totally different landscape than my room. Suddenly I was in front of a large  valley  watching it from a hill; the valley was full of people who seemed to be the people of a certain nation. On the air over the people a huge spaceship was suspended. The sensation i had it was like all seemed to be ancient and at the same “time” from a far,  far distant future. The spaceship had an entrance in form of a hall or open room with fancy furniture with silks and velvet of different vivid colours. In the room were some men with superiority appearance, and as if they were the rulers of the people on the valley . From where i was stand looking the scene i had the sensation of a call that commanded me to go and enter the spaceship, so i did it,  while the people on the valley watched me as with hope, and i could feel as if something  was my endeavour, as if something a duty was  on my shoulders. I entered the spaceship and I was received by two men dressed with garments similar in fashion as the garments of the Buddhist monks of Tibet, but totally different colours;  this time pastel soft colours,  and the fabric of the clothes seemed to be silk and satin. The guys appearance was of being of Caucasian Genotype with white skin and brown hair. They seemed to be brothers or even twins and also they carried a kind of crown  over their heads, making them resemble being  members of a royalty. They saluted me with cordiality and quickly they  said that i had to heed clearly  and receive from them 2 important words. Immediately they pronounced the words: NEKARSA ZAMANA, and the gazes they gave me were like saying: Don’t loose time,  go write them!!! So immediately i awoke from the dream knowing that i was perfectly conscious during it. I took paper and pencil and wrote the words feeling a weird sensation about what just had happened. I also wrote the experience in my magical record.

Artist Credits, unknown to me

The next days i simply forgot about it. It was till February this year that i found the possible meaning of the words while searching in Google translator.  I got the identification of the words possible languages correspondences, as  following:

For the word NEKARSA i found 3 different possibilities among it was Kurdish language one of them . And two others that i discarded  based in the images of my dream.

For the word ZAMANA I found one single possibility being Tukish language.

According to the results, i got this meanings :

The result surprised me a lot, since in fact resembles a kind of message or something important. At the same time i was confused since the words language correspondences were different. Anyway after researching i confirmed what i was thinking regardless the geographical,  political and historical link between the Turkish and Kurdish people, being this last ones a minority and differentiated group. I decided to look on the religious views of that minority of Kurdish, i found that they are divided in sub groups according the religion they follows being some of them Muslims, others Zoroatrians others Chaldeans,  and a special sub group very closed and unique called the Yezidi or Yazidi people. I decided to look upon this specific group following my own intuition, and based on photographs of the National Geographic,  i conclude that the images i saw in my dream actually corresponded to the characteristics of the Yezidi people. I was totally amazed with the result of my research mainly because i really never knew about them specifically.  After this, i studied their history, and their religious beliefs and i got totally fascinated with the cosmology of this Sumerian culture that actually were inhabitants of the ancient Babylon.

This people is so unique and their origins so mysterious that the legend tells that they are a good people  descendant of Adam after the creation of man,  but not descendant of Eve; only of Adam after intercourse with God himself. So they are called the nation who was not brought to life through a woman. I found online the work of an american scholar investigator and expert on the subject called Azi Rasa, which is actually a Thelemite since young age; he has an amazing presentation in which he offer a great comparison between Thelema and Yezidi religiosity,  also given amazing information on then subject. I highly recommend people interested to look after his work. I had the opportunity to talk with him and told him about my dream and my project in writing this article. He asked me if i had some familiarity with the work of an author called Gurdjief,  and i definitely never heard about him before, so I asked him why he asked me about it. He said that in fact that author (a contemporary of Crowley) wrote about Yezidi people and spaceships;  this coincidence was something really,  really astonishing to me to know.

Melek Taus the Peacock deity. Azazel

As i told before,  i got captivated for the cosmology of the Yezidi. They believe in One holy ineffable God,  The Unity, which is beyond any possible comprehension, and so, any attempt for a description of Him by a man is considered ultimately wrong. This unity divided in a trinity which unite in a single pearl that in explosion of energy creates the manifestation of 7 beings called sometimes angels.  Each one of the 7 representing  an aspect of God himself.

Their names being in order of manifestation :

AZAZEL (The Peacok deity which ostent  the title of “Melek Taus”  or the most high of the angels.

Seven beings that also are a unity: 7 in 1.

The imagery of AZAZEL as Peacock deity and his performance in the myth that gives the origin to the legend of the Yezidi as Devil Worshipers,  is something very interesting and fascinating. According to it, He refused God commandment to the 7 angels,  to bow  down before men,  and this symbolises rebellion, and to some people, the origin of evil. And in the Bible he appears as a celestial cosmic being in opposition to Yavé.

In kabbalistic scholarship Azazel is attributed to the Sephirot Binah in the Tree of Life.

Some Thelemic books that can be useful to understand the meaning of the Yezidi similarities to Thelema are:

Liber 418 The Vision and The Voice when talks about the universal peacock. In the Cry of the 7 Aethyr.

Liber 777 for the Peacock attribuitions and correspondences.

Liber Aha

Liber Israfel

Liber Ararita

Liber XXV The Star Ruby.

My personal conclusion about my dream is that perhaps the words that I received are some kind of magical words regarding the possibility of handle the time : NEKARSA ZAMANA:  DISSUADES TIME, and I am actually working on activate this words using them as mantra singing them 7×7 times in meditation.

On Crowley’s R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

The purpose of this article is to talk about my opinion of those people who call themselves thelemites, or if not at least they seem to have adopted Liber AL vel Legis to support their own ulterior development (twisted) according to their own philosophies, but they have a poor apprecition of the meaningful task and opus of the Master Therion the Great Beast Aleister Crowey.

Many of my readers knows that i am a lawyer, an so, it means that i work as an advocate. I felt the need of writing this article being perhaps a work of Devil’s advocate if you want to call it, but the true is that Aleister Crowley dont need of this, is just my desire to write this article which is totally a subjective approach as everyone of my articles are. I raise my voice to say what I think and i know i am not an ultimate interpreter of any kind, i am not a recognised scholar neither and of course people can agree or disagree with me. Since i am only doing my will writing and finding escstasy in doing it, i am being passionate but also rational in writing this article.

I critizise those peoples who use the voice of Thelema (Liber AL vel Legis) to support their own beliefs and say that The Law contained in the Holy Book is what rules their crede. They say that they accept the Voice delivered by Aiwass to Master Therion during the Cairo working in 1904 as true, the voice of the Ultra Gods (as i like to call them) Nuit, Hadit and Ra Hoor Khuit; but at the same time they reject Aleister Crowleys importance and even talk despicable things about the prophet. I say thay this people are truly lost or at least they are in the wrong place. Why i dare to say this?

Well the Law is for All, and at the same time the Law is a Whole (once again remember that i am a lawyer, talking about law, i know of what i am talking about) . A law is a body of rules, norms, insctructions, comandments that works as an organism each part depending on the other parts that compose it. I cannot invoke a Law in my favour, when I reject a part of it, or pretend that a part of the law is correct and tne other no. That is a huge contradiction and cosequentely all that i could say based in the law that i invoked under such circumstances would be not valid.

Those people likes to invoke the Voice of Nuit, Hadith and Ra Hoor Khuit they even preach with it, they even involves those voices into their own deeds. But guess what,  they avoid some specific parts such as this:

Liber AL vel Legis cap I

15. Now ye shall know that the chosen priest & apostle of infinite space is the prince-priest the Beast; and in his woman called the Scarlet Woman is all power given. They shall gather my children into their fold: they shall bring the glory of the stars into the hearts of men.

32. Obey my prophet! follow out the ordeals of my knowledge! seek me only! Then the joys of my love will redeem ye from all pain. This is so: I swear it by the vault of my body; by my sacred heart and tongue; by all I can give, by all I desire of ye all.

36. My scribe Ankh-af-na-khonsu, the priest of the princes, shall not in one letter change this book; but lest there be folly, he shall comment thereupon by the wisdom of Ra-Hoor-Khuit.

* The voice of Nuit is saying that Crowley in fact is the presence of Ankh af Na Khonsu, the priest of the Princes.

Cap II

53. Fear not, o prophet, when these words are said, thou shalt not be sorry. Thou art emphatically my chosen; and blessed are the eyes that thou shalt look upon with gladness. But I will hide thee in a mask of sorrow: they that see thee shall fear thou art fallen: but I lift thee up.

64. Oh! thou art overcome: we are upon thee; our delight is all over thee: hail! hail: prophet of Nu! prophet of Had! prophet of Ra-Hoor-Khu! Now rejoice! now come in our splendour & rapture! Come in our passionate peace, & write sweet words for the Kings.

65. I am the Master: thou art the Holy Chosen One.

77. O be thou proud and mighty among men!

78. Lift up thyself! for there is none like unto thee among men or among Gods! Lift up thyself, o my prophet, thy stature shall surpass the stars. They shall worship thy name, foursquare, mystic, wonderful, the number of the man; and the name of thy house 418.

79. The end of the hiding of Hadit; and blessing & worship to the prophet of the lovely Star!

* The voice of Hadit is an exaltation to Master Therion is also a blessing to him remarkably saying he is the Holy chosen One. Even comanding us to worship his name, ultimately identifying him as The Avatar of Ra Hoor Khuit.

We can see clearly the importance of Aleister Crowley.

Is true that we thelemites are not judges, we are meant to do our will and let others do the same. Our judge is Ra Hoor Khuit , and i would say also that our adjustment is Maat. But facts are facs and dont need that a judge declare that they are.

So this people of whom i am talking about here rejoice using the voice of Ra Hoor Khuit his mighty voice of war and of vengance and at the same time ignoring the comandments of the Gods about the Holy Chosen One of them and pretend to be called serious? I firmly believe the will be the first ones in be judge directly by Ra Hoor Khuit.

Of course i know that Crowley don’t invented the concept of Thelema (Will in greek), of course i know that he did not invent the Goddess Babalon, but what is true is that without him we never would know about this, at least in the way we know it now. Invoking Liber CCXX and despising Frater P.  is a huge contradiction that has no sense in any way possible. I truly and firmly beieve that those who claim to have an ulterior development of these concepts going beyond what Crowley intended about, are following something totally different and alien of what the Law of Thelema really is. They should stop invoking The Book of the Law, they better should keep separated the work of Master Therion and his conclusive ideas from their own twisted beliefs. I personally dont give a cent about them and think they are something totally creepy and wasteful. This people think they are themselves holier than the prophet, they even only are talking about other people always in a reprobable manner saying that  they are the ultimate truth, and accusing others of being false and evil,  trying to hire the attention of dumb people who will believe their nonsense hallucinations. People deserve to fall in the belief they want and get trapped on it thinking that they are being free.

Love is the Law, Love under Will.

Sacred Masturbation by Matthew Semernezski

In the beginning there was the word, the word was with God and the word was mmmmmmmmmmmm.

“In book one of “The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali” there is Tasya vacakah pranavah.  Tasya=of [Isvara]; vacakah=word, expressive, signifying, pranavah=mystic sound “OM.”

The word expressive of Isvara is the mystic sound OM.  [OM is God’s name as well as form.]

“Because it is difficult to understand anything without a name Patanjali wants to give the supreme Purusa a name.  Even if Isvara doesn’t have a particular form, there should be a name.  But “Isvara” is a limited name; “God” is also limited because the very vibrations of the letters are limited.  So Patanjali wants a name that can give an unlimited idea and vibration and which can include all vibrations, all sounds and syllables, because God is like that-infinite.  So Patanjali says Isvara’s name is “Mmmm.”  We can’t easily say “Mmmm,” so it is written as OM.  Om is called pranaava, which simply means “humming.”

Now in the case of celibacy it states that we save energy and though I do agree with this to a certain extent it is not fully the case, one can still orgasm though one will not reach the highest plateau of spiritual enlightenment.  Besides, did not God masturbate the world into existence?

“Seminal fluid is our life.  If stored properly, it can bring a lot of energy.  When absorbed into the system it gets transformed into prana.  Conserved sexual energy in women also gets transformed.  It is that vital force that allows you to really help people and have a good relationships.  Without much prana, we can never give anything to anybody, just as only a fully-charged battery can give power, never a weak one.  In observing brahmacarya, we build up this energy.”

In this article I wish to delve into the concept of stored up sexual energy (kundalini, shakti) in regards to the rising of the sacred fluid along the spinal column.  I have found however this also heavily depends on the sex drive of the individual and each one of us will have to moderate our orgasms based on our own individual sex drive.  I would also like to point to some of the side effects of an awakened kundalini, one of which is an extreme sexual desire.

Some side effects of an awakened kundalini may include the following: Involuntary jerks, tremors, shaking, itching, tingling, and crawling sensations, especially in the arms and legs

  • Energy rushes or feelings of electricity circulating the body
  • Intense heat (sweating) or cold, especially as energy is experienced passing through the chakras
  • Spontaneous pranayama, asanas, mudras and bandhas
  • Visions or sounds at times associated with a particular chakra
  • Diminished or conversely extreme sexual desire sometimes leading to a state of constant or whole-body orgasm
  • Emotional upheavals or surfacing of unwanted and repressed feelings or thoughts with certain repressed emotions becoming dominant in the conscious mind for short or long periods of time.
  • Headache, migraine, or pressure inside the skull
  • Increased blood pressure and irregular heartbeat
  • Emotional numbness
  • Antisocial tendencies
  • Mood swings with periods of depression or mania
  • Pains in different areas of the body, especially back and neck
  • Sensitivity to light, sound, and touch
  • Trance-like and altered states of consciousness
  • Disrupted sleep pattern (periods of insomnia or oversleeping)
  • Loss of appetite or overeating
  • Bliss, feelings of infinite love and universal connectivity, transcendent awareness

Brahmacharya, “commonly understood as self-control, especially of the sexual impulse, brahmacharya is one of the five yamas (religious proscriptions) cited as the first step of Patanjali’s Eightfold Path of Yoga.  Commenting on verse 14, Paramahansa Yogananda wrote:

“He or she who is steadfast in brahmacharya is defined as a celibate student who is faithful in living a holy life, engaging in sacred study and self-discipline.  In the prescribed Vedic plan, this was basically the beginning of the spiritual life for all aspirants.  ‘Brahmachari-brate’ has also a deeper meaning here:  literally ‘one whose sphere of action of act of devotion (vrata) is practicing (chara Aum (brahma:  the sacred sound, shabda-Brahman).’  The accomplished Brahmachari, then, is one who by the practice of meditating on Aum roams or progresses in the realm of Brahman manifested as the Creator or Holy Vibration:  the Aum, Amen, or Holy Ghost.”

I do not fully agree with Yogananda however, it can be an abuse of meditation just like one can abuse other aspects of life, everything in moderation.

So I would like to delve into what the word is in a sexual manner and the word is an orgasm, the orgasm of the creator, god masturbated the world into existence so if god masturbated then I do not think that god would mind if we masturbated or had sex however it must have been one hell of a build up in order to accomplish creating all of the life in which was created.

One can use a number of stimuli to build up sexual energy in order to transmute one’s lead into gold. Just as all metals require a certain amount of heat in order to be transmuted into finer qualities it also takes a fair amount of heat in order to transmute one’s own inner alchemy and the passion of the sense organs can help to kindle that flame into a roaring fire into the ram, the head, the crown chakra.

“The Tantra texts and tantric practices involve a wide range of topics, mostly focused on spiritual topics, and not of sexual nature. However, states Gavin Flood, Tantrism is more known in the West as being notorious for its antinomian elements, stereotypically portrayed as a practice that is esoteric eroticism and ritualized sex in the name of religion, one imbued with alcohol and offering of meat to fierce deities.  This portrayal is not limited to the Western imagination, however.  Jayanta Bhatta, the 9th-century scholar of the Nyaya school of Hindu Philosophy and who commented on Tantra literature, stated that the Tantric ideas and spiritual practices are mostly well placed, but it also has “immoral teachings” such as by the so-called “Nilambara” sect where its practitioners “wear simply one blue garment, and then as a group engage in unconstrained public sex” on festivals. He wrote, this practice is unnecessary and it threatens fundamental values of society.

Sexuality has been a part of Tantric practices, sexual fluids have been viewed as “power substances” and used ritualistically. Some extreme texts, states Flood, go further such as the Buddhist text Candamaharosana-tantra advocating consumption of bodily waste products as “power substances”, teaching the waste should be consumed as a diet “eaten by all the Buddhas” without slightest disgust. However, such esoteric practices are exceptional and extreme, they are not found in much of Buddhist and Hindu Tantric literature or practices. In the Kaula tradition and others where sexual fluids as power substances and ritual sex are mentioned, scholars disagree in their translations, interpretations and practical significance.

Douglas Renfrew Brooks, for example, states that the antinomian elements such as the use of intoxicating substances and sex were not animistic, but were adopted in some Kaula traditions to challenge the Tantric devotee to break down the “distinctions between the ultimate reality of Brahman and the mundane physical and mundane world”. By combining erotic and ascetic techniques, states Brooks, the Tantric broke down all social and internal assumptions, became Shiva-like.  In Kashmir Shaivism, states David Gray, the antinomian transgressive ideas were internalized, for meditation and reflection, and as a means to “realize a transcendent subjectivity”.

“In most Hindu and Buddhist Tantra texts, extreme forms of sexual ritualism is absent. In Jain tantric text, this is entirely absent. Yet, emotions, eroticism and sex are universally regarded in Tantric literature as natural, desirable, a means of transformation of the deity within, to “reflect and recapitulate the bliss of Shiva and Shakti”. Kama and sex is another aspect of life and a “root of the universe”, in the Tantric view, whose purpose extends beyond procreation and is another means to spiritual journey and fulfillment.  This idea flowers with the inclusion of kama art in Hindu temple arts, and its various temple architecture and design manuals such as the Shilpa-prakasha by the Hindu scholar Ramachandra Kulacara.”

In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali there is a word called ojas.  “By observing celibacy, we preserve not just physical energy alone but mental, moral, intellectual and, ultimately, spiritual energy as well.  Sexual energy that is preserved gets transformed into a subtle energy called ojas.  This is similar to personal magnetism.  It tones the entire personality, builds the nerves, improves brain power and calms the mind.  There is a similar word to ojas in English:  ozone.  In the early morning, before sunrise, we can go out and breath the ozonic wind, which has a special vibration and energy to it.  But once the sun’s rays fall, this effect is lost.  That’s why the period between four and six in the morning is called the Brahmanmuhurta, the Brahmic time, or divine period, and is a very sacred time to meditate.

And ojas, when stored, creates tejas.  Tejas is the aura or the glow.  A newspaper reporter once wrote an article about me called, “The Swami Makes the People Glow.”  How can the Swami do this?  Is it some peculiar yogic make-up?  No.  Everyone can glow and can transmit that energy when the preserve a lot of ojas.  Even ordinary carbon left under the earth in an airtight chamber for a considerable time gets hardened, changes its color and becomes a diamond.  If you preserved honey it gets crystallized.  In the same way the semen gets transformed and diffused.

This is why continence is a very important part of Yoga.  If a handful of people come forward with strong wills, nothing is impossible.  One Buddha changed half the globe; one Jesus, three quarters of the world.  We all have that capacity.  Let us know the value of brahmacharya; that it certainly will make us strong, happy, healthy, wealthy and blissful.”

So the left hand path of sex magick would create a dominating electrical charge which will eventually deteriorate the nerves and destroy an individuals health.  I do recommend from personal experience to take some time out of debased sexual practices to do some grounding and to recapture the essence of the sacred feminine within ones own temple.

Now I wish to speak further on not only preserving this sexual energy but also making it stronger by teasing oneself before the point of climax.  You can think of it like wine or any other type of alcohol for that matter, the longer it sits the stronger it becomes and once you open the bottle it begins to lose its potency but built up it can make the cork pop.

I personally enjoy to rotate between three things in order to help me achieve this.  I will masturbate using either my own mind or some other visual stimulation, then I will meditate then I will masturbate and then I will do some physical exercise as well before returning to masturbation and meditation again, I may even burn some herbs on my alter in the process in order to relax me so I do not become to dominating and electrical.  Sometimes I will even envision sexually stimulating images during meditation to strengthen my prana.

Returning to the big bang (pun intended) I wish to go now a bit into the mushroom in regards to sex worship.

“This Amanita’s first growth stage is similar to an egg shape, giving the mushroom its bulbous base.  It also appears that this mushroom has been born from a tiny pot.  One of the sons of Shiva was born of a pot that Shiva ejaculated into.  There is quite a lot of sex worship and fertility rites involved with mushroom history.  This is in part because mushrooms themselves are the phallic organs of the mycelial organism.

The mushrooms are the reproductive part of the actual “body” of the organism.  The mushrooms spring up to reproduce  by releasing their spores.  The actual body of the organism is a fine network of mycelia, a growth of hair-like fibers throughout the soil.  These networks of mycelia (when describing many mushrooms containing psilocybin) can be many acres in size and may have many more connections than exist in a human brain.

In many instances, anointing the body with oil is associated with fertility rights and tantra.  Entheogen-infused oil is poured onto the male phallic prior to sex, where blissful, psychedelic, sexual experiences are shared by the couples (or groups).  Sexually oppressed religionists squirm when confronted with facts like this.  The application of plants to the body is natural and only misguided prejudices makes it seem repulsive.”

What we have here is two alchemical reactions occurring, firstly there is the entheogen infused oil and then there is sex so I will have to question, what caused the prime source to trip and ejaculate the world into existence?  I will not delve into the problem of what created the creator nor the paradox of for non-existence to exist there must be existence however what attracted god to spill its load to create the cosmos?  There is the demiurge which is the sun which is said to have created this planet (oops) and then there is something larger (perhaps the sun Sirius) but also not the prime source and so really this planet could be nothing more than a bastard floating through space forgotten about by the copulating couple that comes together every 24,000 years or so.  So in a sense this is a build up, a tease of the creators building up to an extraordinary climax, as above, so below, as within as without.

So imagine if you will not just a sex drive based on normal desires but a hypernized sex drive intentionally stimulated and controlled through discipline.  It will be rather intense but I must say that it is another form of discipline and should not be treaded upon lightly such as in the instance of creating a moon child.

“Sex Magick-The Birth of a Lunar Intelligence WARNING: Caution should be exercised with this rite. The creation of a moon child on the astral plane is sometimes more dangerous than giving flesh in the womb. The reason it is dangerous is that it is yet another ‘step up’ from any normal Elemental, in simple terms it is the closest to human intelligence that one could create, it stands on the threshold of having its own will. The other point to understand is that such servitors, due to their lack of will, act only unto your commands. If one falls prey to starting to communicate with them when unnecessary then obsession can occur. The Elemental will gain immortality through your soul itself, it will become attached and there is little hope beyond that.

The same is the case with any of the vampiric rights included in this Grimoire, if not undertaken properly there is literally ‘hell to pay’.

The Sorcerer who takes on the act of sex to invigorate what Aleister Crowley called a Moonchild is stepping beyond the boundaries of control and opening the gates of something else. I have stressed extreme discipline in dealing with such spirits and would say only the most advanced should undertake such a working as this. The contents of this working is based upon an Astral Moon Spirit, not a baby conceived in the flesh (which is by all means possible). The automata formed through your sex and the spirit formed in your astral semen will give life to this sorcery. Rituals such as this have long been hidden from the public and from most occultists. This is due to the fact that such workers invoke bestial and demonic incarnations, like flesh taking atavisms which would drive one to the brink of madness and death. The primal stygian daemons who stand waiting at the threshold are going to run through the gate finally and I can only hope that the couple who undertake this rite are willing to reap the consequences of such an undertaking.  This is Black Magick in every sense of the word, it creates or evokes an offspring of your sorcery.”

Everything is dualistic however, even the reproductive systems of males and females. You have nerves running from your testicles just like you have nerves in the ovaries that are both positively and negatively charged, you also have a center however where the two meet in order to bring life into the world and so you can think perhaps as the two suns (our own sun and perhaps the star Sirius) as a giant set of testicles building up sexual energy in order to copulate finally to bring life through the sign wave which is similar to a vagina however I would imagine that the universes reproductive system is much more heavily complex than the human beings.

Everything is a pump however, a wine press if you will (pun intended) and just as such so is the built up sexual energy in the sacrum which when built up can turn into a supercharged explosion of sexual energy as opposed to ejaculating. It takes a great amount of will power in order to prevent yourself from orgasming every time one has an urge especially while teasing oneself.

“At the same time, it must be pointed out that the whole topic of sexual magic has been hedged about with a tremendous amount of hypocrisy, emanating both from practicing sex magicians and those merely observing their activities. For instance, many a curiosity-seeker has casually poked around the most superficial level of erotic magic, hoping to learn a few sex tips to spice up a lackluster love life. For the most part, this misguided playing at sex magic is merely a waste of time, generating little in the way of physical excitement, and absolutely nothing in the way of magic. But some self-righteous sex magicians have taken the school-marmish position that this fairly common phenomenon is “immoral” or “spiritually harmful”, or even that sex magic must be performed without a scintilla of lust or emotion to be legitimate. Conversely, the non-magician may snicker at the whole idea of erotic magic, dismissing it as some sort of dirty joke, refusing to accept that sex magicians are doing anything more profound than satiating their ordinary carnal appetites under the guise of esoteric doctrine. Behind these sanctimonious attitudes lays the horrific banality to which Eros has been reduced in the modern Western world. In this spirit, some of our readers might imagine that a guide to left hand path sex magic will provide the furtive cheap thrills of thinly veiled pornography. Literally speaking, that much maligned word pornography, from the Greek porno (whore) and graphia (writing) simply means “to write about whores”. So for those of you who were fervently hoping that this book would be pornographic, there is indeed enough writing about whores in these pages to technically qualify. Of course, the whores we will be concerned with are the conveyors of that long-lost ars amatoria of sacred prostitution. If prostitution once served a noble and even sacred function, then why not a sacred pornography? Such a form would be something far more subversive and powerful than the formulaic repetition of conventions we usually associate with the genre. The British author Angela Carter, whose cruel tales were usually tinged with an unsettling and surreal sexuality, once suggested the possibilities: “The moral pornographer would be an artist who uses pornographic material as a part of the acceptance of the logic of a world of absolute sexual license for all the genders, and projects a model of the way such a world might work. His business would be the total demystification of the flesh and the subsequent revelation, through the infinite modulations of the sexual act… the pornographer has it in his power to become a terrorist of the imagination, a sexual guerilla whose purpose is to overturn our most basic notions of these relations, to reinstate sexuality as a primary mode of being rather than a specialized area of vacation from being and to show that the everyday meetings in the marriage bed are parodies of their own pretensions.”

He or she strives to reach a state of mind in which all forms of orthodoxy must be questioned and rejected. Even at this early stage, the perceptive reader will have realized that when we speak of left-hand sex magic, we are not concerned solely with the workings of the genitalia for some sorcerous purpose. Yes, its central tool of illumination is awakened sexuality. But the left-hand path tradition actually provides an approach to every aspect of existence, a philosophy – or “love of Sophia” – that set into action can transform the entirety of the human psychobiological structure, not just his or her penis or vagina.”

I do suggest however a certain degree of self-control when first starting along the path of bhakti and raja yoga so as to regain one’s own spiritual prana that may have been lost through the pains of life however once again this all applies to the individual.

I am not dismissing the orgasm in relation to sex magick by any means however I am simply trying to state the potency of attempting potent sex magick by building up this fluid.

The Thelemic Dichotomy Betwteen Dove and Serpent, and The Holy Ghost

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.

I decided to write this article to  express my own opinion of the mystery contained  in Liber AL  I , 57.

  1. Invoke me under my stars! Love is the law, love under will. Nor let the fools mistake love; for there are love and love. There is the dove, and there is the serpent. Choose ye well! He, my prophet, hath chosen, knowing the law of the fortress, and the great mystery of the House of God. All these old letters of my Book are aright; but is not the Star. This also is secret: my prophet shall reveal it to the wise.*

Also my interest is to  present some thoughts i have been studying regarding the concept of  The Holy Ghost in Thelemic lore.

I have read different opinions of people talking in public groups of social media about this subject and  i can see many people think that the statement of  Goddess Nuit in this verse it is a kind of test to the adept of Thelema, and that  according to  it  he or she have to make an election between two pair of “opposite” things, The Dove and the Serpent.  Therefore one of them should have to be a “negative” thing  and the other one consequently a “positive” thing. But it is true this interpretation? If it is, positive and negative judgement of each of the two  possibilities would depend for each reader’s perspective.

Many of the opinions i found link the Dove with the Christian beliefs, and consequentially “something despicable” according their own understanding of the Thelemic teachings. Since Christianism seems to teach a rejection to the symbol of the serpent (which is true, but not totally true) is easy to think that the right choice to a Thelemite in choosing between the dove and the serpent would be the election of the serpent over the dove.  And yes that is the general opinion of Thelemites that participate in Thelemic internet discussions.

credits unknown to me

Anyways,  we can find in the Bible some references to serpents in what we could be considered almost a positive idea of them, as follows:

Matthew 10:16

“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.

John 3:14 -15

“As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.

Numbers 21 – 7

So the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, because we have spoken against the LORD and you; intercede with the LORD, that He may remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people. Then the LORD said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a standard; and it shall come about, that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, he will live.” And Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on the standard; and it came about, that if a serpent bit any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.

Exodous 7 -11 -12

Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers, and they also, the magicians of Egypt, did the same with their secret arts.

For each one threw down his staff and they turned into serpents.  But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.

I never got satisfied by this answer of simply chosen the serpent over the dove and i  thought that the dichotomy  that Goddess Nuit is presenting in this sentence should be more profound to understand going “beyond the image”. So during my research of the possible interpretations of this statement i found some of them that satisfied my own feelings towards it.

First of all i went to the Prophet’s own interpretation of it,  which is written in  AL , The Comment called D, (The Djeridensis Working) by 666

  1. “Nuit: duty of mankind to invoke Her. Nuit commands mankind to invoke Her, that is, to fulfil their utmost Selfhood, under Her stars, that is, by the study of all other Points of View beside one’s own. The method of Magick: Love the mode in which Will operates. The method of Magick in this – and in all – Work is: “love under will.” The word love (Agaph in Greek) has the value of 93, like that of Θελημα, will. This implies that love and will are in truth one and the same, two phases of one theme. Love is thus shown as the means by which will may be brought to success. Love: its two main types: its possible defects. Men are warned against error in this matter of love. There are two main modes of love, the symbol of one being the dove, of the other the serpent. These symbols and their meanings in ethics, with their bearing on “the law of the fortress, and the great mystery of the House of God” are explained by me fully elsewhere”.

So,  there are love and love,  but both of them are love and both are the Law.   Goddess Nuit is saying that those who don’t choose well are “fools” and that could seem to be a warning about the possibility of doing a mistake while choosing one of them, but  i sincerely think that this verse have to be interpreted through the perspective of being  closely linked to verse 56 of the same chapter.

  1. Expect him not from the East, nor from the West; for from no expected house cometh that child. Aum! All words are sacred and all prophets true; save only that they understand a little; solve the first half of the equation, leave the second unattacked. But thou hast all in the clear light, and some, though not all, in the dark.

So the election between Dove and Serpent is something regarding the equation mentioned by Nuit, and she even is telling us one more clue about it when she say: “But thou hast all in the clear light, and some, though not all, in the dark”., i understand this as the application of the principle of equilibrium even during the moment of choosing between two possible options. So the “fools” will mistake or not.

The mention of the word “fools” i think it have to be linked to the “Atu 0” The fool,  which is the traveller of the Journey of the tarot trumps. Nuit also mentioned that the Prophet “has chosen well  knowing the law of the fortress and the mystery of the house of God“, which Crowley interpreted as a representation of the Atu XVI The Tower (fortress and house of God), and that he thought it was confirmed in the verse when immediately is mentioned : “…all the letters of my book are aright, but tzaddi is not the star“.

According to The book of Thoth:

Atu XVI The Tower:

“…Bathed in the effulgence of this Eye (which now assumes even a third sense, that indicated in Atu XV) are the Dove bearing an olive branch and the Serpent: as in the above quotation. The Serpent is portrayed as the Lion-Serpent Xnoubis or Abraxas. These represent the two forms of desire; what Schopenhauer would have called the Will to Live and the Will to Die. They represent the feminine and masculine impulses; the nobility of the latter is possibly based upon recognition of the futility of the former. This is perhaps why the renunciation of love in all the ordinary senses of the word has been so constantly announced as the first step towards initiation. This is an unnecessarily rigid view. This Trump is not the only card in the Pack, nor are the “will to live” and the “will to die” incompatible. This becomes clear as soon as life and death are understood (See Atu XIII) as phases of a single manifestation of energy”.

According to  Soror Meral’s opinion,  the election made by the Prophet mentioned by Nuit while said: “He, my prophet, hath chosen…”,  was not fulfilled yet at the moment  of the writing of the Book of the Law, but only when Crowley ciphered  the change between the Star and the Emperor cards, Hebrew letter attributions in the arrangement of the tarot Atus; she said : ““Hé my prophet hath chosen.” She reads it as a clue to what is yet to come, the attribution of Heh (Hé) to The Star”.

So according to this view the fatalistic thought of some thelemites in thinking they have to choose between the dove and the serpent in order to fulfil some requirement for the ideal of  a thelemic practitioner, it would be a complete nonsense.

Since the Dove is Love and the Serpent is Love both of them are the same thing in the end. Two aspects of love:  The serpent is the symbol for erotic sexual love (kundalini)  and the dove for spiritual brotherly love or agape. Both as Crowley said two different phases of the same thing, and we can use both of them without fear of making a mistake.

I found this wise interpretation* in a discussion  thelemic site:

“The dove of peace and harmony is a veritable poem of the Holy Spirit soaring through heavenly skies of brotherly love. The serpent of wisdom and delight is a veritable phallus of Lust plunging into hellish cycles of skin-shedding immortality (of course, as with any true interpretation of symbolic interaction, the entire metaphor may be turned completely upside-down: the serpent might represent the spiritual sublimation of personality through the wand of will [cf. Avalon, THE SERPENT POWER, the rods of Moses and Aaron, etc.], while the labial wings and clitoral beak of the dove can scarcely conceal in themselves the wet and waiting cup of Babalon) – The dove’s being also a symbol linked to Venus”.

I wonder why some  thelemites think the dove is a symbol contrary to thelemic values’ perhaps the have not realised yet the imagery contained in the O.T.O lamen?

The Dove symbolises the “HOLY GHOST”  descending to illuminate the below, is the spiritual  ecstasy, the fire from above descending like a lightning strike, penetrating the lower realms – and therefore is also a sexual representation-, to my opinion The Holy Ghost is that primordial energy of manifestation,  pure,  that is present in all and that is the centre of all at the same time,  being no other than Hadit it self as is also Hadit itself the Serpent, the sexual ecstasy, the fire from below, kundalini ascending to reach the higher planes, – Kundalini Shakti it means literally, ‘coiled energy’- through the spinal column.  Something experienced during tantric yoga in order to achieve a raising on the planes, being therefore  a spiritual task as well. “The secret Serpent coiled about to spring” referred to in Liber Al, II:26.

  1. I am the secret Serpent coiled about to spring: in my coiling there is joy. If I lift up my head, I and my Nuit are one. If I droop down mine head, and shoot forth venom, then is rapture of the earth, and I and the earth are one.

Showing us that  Kundalini has two ways in which energy flows; when lifting his head  to unite with Nuit is the essence of Agape, and when it droops down its head and shoots forth venom  “through the flesh” is the essence of Eros. And, an understanding of  both verses connected, gives us a perspective in which the statement:  “Choose ye well!” would  not be a fatalistic warning  but instead a hint to lead us to aim for a balance of the two forces or ways of express the kundalini energy (spiritual and sexual energy) in our own body (House of God).

Finally i would like to add this quote from the Comic series Promethea by Alan Moore:

“When we climb up the tree, winding from sphere to sphere, then we’re serpents. The serpent is the will to climb, and rise. The will to live. But when we choose to descend from this sacred purity, back into the turmoil and suffering of the world, then we’re doves. The dove is the will to sacrifice, to descend. The will to die. The will to die to this glorious world of spirit, and live again in matter…the will to take a little more light back down into the world, where it needs it. Back down there.”

Love is the Law, love under will

The Force of Negative that impulses manifestation of Magick

The force of negative that impulses manifestation of Magick

Do what thou wilt shall be the Whole of the Law

When i was a little child of 6 years old i asked my self so many times, wondering about how the perceptible world was manifested. I asked my self: What would exist if this world would not exist? What is the nothingness?… and … if nothing exist… that nothing would be something? I used to surprise my mother asking her about it.

I wanted to write this article time ago, inspired for the contemplation of the “negative” aspect in my daily life experience, based on different theories i have learned during my esoteric and religious studies. The No, Not to do something, Nothingness, Noting. I think all the branches in occultism taught about this knowledge, and to some of us is perhaps something we consider not so important or even not existent (not ironically).

My personal experience in daily life is showing me every day the need of pay attention to this amazing aspect of existence. The negative – in this case is important to clarify that i am talking about the negative as the absence of the something that “exist” in the immediately perceptible world, and not about the concept of evil, which anyways ultimately has of course it can be assimilate to that of what i am talking about too, but is not the intent of this article talk about concepts like good and evil, or good vs bad.

The negative force i am talking about here is that of mathematics, physics and philosophy.

blog 6.jpg

According to Kabbalah, the source of all the manifestation is placed beyond Kether (The Crown in the Tree of Life) in the plane called of The three veils of Negativity: Ain, Ain Soph and Ain Soph Aur, meaning No-thing, Limitless Space, and Limitless Light. Ain as no-thing, no object, no subject pure emptiness and and the same time full of pure potential of manifestation still not formulated being at the at the same time “nothing” and infinite. 0 = infinite. The three veils being the cause to Kether manifest through the condensation of these powers projecting itself in a mirror reflection and developing the complex system of the Tree of Life. The name of Kether in Atziluth is AHIH, “I Am”, the pure existence, undifferentiated. The ilusion or Maya of the Hinduism.

Hermetic knowledge taught us about the “Polarity Principle” (Kybalion) showing that extreme opposites are in fact aspects of one same thing with many degrees between them.

“Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled.” — The Kybalion.

This principle pervades everything as all the other principles starting in the dualistic of existence and no existence – To be or not to be – as said Shakespeare.

“To be or not to be, That is the question” Hamlet.

In Thelemic mysticism the cosmogony and also cosmology expressed in Liber AL vel Legis with the “Ultra Gods” (as i like to call them, being the absolute form or thought regarding the nature of divine) NUIT and HADIT that are the representation of this Principle in which the negative field is the cause of the manifestation of the positive.

Quoting some verses of Liber AL vel Legis, The Book of the Law,

Chapter 1. Had the Manifestation of Nuit:

4. Every number is infinite; there is no difference.
21. With the God & the Adorer I am nothing: they do not see me. They are as upon the earth; I am Heaven, and there is no other God than me, and my lord Hadit.
22. Now, therefore, I am known to ye by my name Nuit, and to him by a secret name which I will give him when at last he knoweth me. Since I am Infinite Space, and the Infinite Stars thereof, do ye also thus. Bind nothing! Let there be no difference made among you between any one thing & any other thing; for thereby there cometh hurt.
26. “…Thou knowest! And the sign shall be my ecstasy, the consciousness of the continuity of existence, the omnipresence of my body.*
27. …O Nuit, continuous one of Heaven, let it be ever thus; that men speak not of Thee as One but as None; and let them speak not of thee at all, since thou art continuous!
44. For pure will, unassuaged of purpose, delivered from the lust of result, is every way perfect.
45. The Perfect and the Perfect are one Perfect and not two; nay, are none!
46. Nothing is a secret key of this law. Sixty-one the Jews call it; I call it eight, eighty, four hundred & eighteen.

4. 0= ∞
21. The Goddess say clearly she is Nothing expressing her (nor) existence as “nothing” nature beyond the formulation of Kether.
22. The Goddess is also saying she being nothing is also Infinite. (I.S.I.S.  Infinite Space, Infinite Stars).
26. Once again she reaffirm about her infinite existence.
27. The voice the Prophet expressing his understanding of this mystery
44. This is a key of magick- the “negative” words Unassuaged and delivered implies the absence of the components: Purpose and Lust of Result.
45. Even more the perfect is None.
46. Assimilate the word of the Aeon ABRAHADABRA to the concept of Nothingness.

Chapter 2. Nu! The hiding of Hadit:

2. Come! all ye, and learn the secret that hath not yet been revealed. I, Hadit, am the complement of Nu, my bride. I am not extended, and Khabs is the name of my House.
3. In the sphere I am everywhere the centre, as she, the circumference, is nowhere found.
4. Yet she shall be known & I never.
6. I am the flame that burns in every heart of man, and in the core of every star. I am Life, and the giver of Life, yet therefore is the knowledge of me the knowledge of death.
15. For I am perfect, being Not; and my number is nine by the fools; but with the just I am eight, and one in eight: Which is vital, for I am none indeed. The Empress and the King are not of me ; for there is a further secret
23. I am alone: there is no God where I am.
44. Aye! feast! rejoice! there is no dread hereafter. There is the dissolution, and eternal ecstasy in the kisses of Nu

2. Hadit being the complement of Nu, it is the manifestation of Kether the first unity, “The Holy Spirit”, The Serpent of Knowledge, “the metaphysical the identity” subject of consciousness.
3. within the circumference existing at the same time everywhere inside it”.
4. Paradoxically Nuit being the negative field from wish manifestation “comes to life”, Hadit, being the first expression is hidden building the body of Nuit to be known by all of us.
6. Giver of Life and his knowledge is of death showing the Hermetic Principle of Polarity.
15. The equivalence to None = Zero = Perfect.
23. There is “No God” where i am, I am alone, this can be interpreted the Affirmation of Hadit saying I Am God, which is an affirmation product of two negations.
44. Dissolution implies annihilation, into the eternal ecstasy in the kisses of Nuit, which means that all the manifestation and creation will return at some point to the same moment of the beginning en even more to the moment previous to existence.

Nuit and Hadit, artis unknown to me

After meditating on these verses in AL , i humbly dared to interpret  that is describing this process in which manifestation starts from nothing to something, through separation to become the world we know and that is meant to dissolve again into nothingness by the reconciliation of opposites.

The ultimate aspiration of a magician is to become NEMO which mean ” the one who has no name” Not-Self or Non-Being, as one who has conquered his/her own ego by dissolving it and separating it from the own appreciation and differentiation of “the Self”, he who is beyond of definitions, beyond faces and names, he/she who is free from internal contradiction or external identifications. This achievement is manifested in the attainment of the grade of Magister Templi 8°=3 ( The Hermit)Master of the Temple, in the system of the A.’.A.’., meaning the casting away of all characteristics of the personality “giving him/herself everything of one’s self till the last drop of Blood in the Cup of Our Lady Babalon, also known as “The Universal Life”. Explained beautifully and in magistral way in the Call of the 13th Aethyr in The Vision And The Voice by Aleister Crowley.

As thelemic adept i consider myself, of course i am conscious that i am still far of attain such status, but i do try every day to achieve a similar state at least for some time during meditation. Following the steps to meditate that i learned time ago from my Si – Fu in the Kun Fu accademy in which i trained for about two years, i start asking myself (as he instructed me): What is the sound of silence?… Then i clear my mind of thoughts, i also relief myself of the layers of my own personality one by one, those labels that define my self in the world. So i pull off Ruby the Lawyer, then Ruby the mother, Ruby the lover, Ruby the daughter, Ruby the woman, Ruby the child, till i get to that state of being a New Born, i feel again a baby who has no expectations of existence…. In that precise moment i feel my self NEMO at least for some few minutes that i try to make every time longer and longer. Also every time is easier to me to achieve that state. Being a baby of nothing to worry about i can finally meditate in Nothingness, that field of infinite potential, filling my self with powerful spiritual energy. Is the same state that is called mosksha (liberation) in Buddhism, or the state of Samhadi (the total union of subject and object) in Yoga and Hinduism.

Another pertinent Thelemic Quotes:

“From the Abyss comes No Man forth, but a Star startles the Earth…”–One Star in Sight

“But this Dryness hath its virtue, in that thereby the Soul is purged of those things that impeach the Will: for when the drouth is altogether perfect, then is it certain that by no means can the Soul be satisfied, save by the Accomplishment of the Great Work. And this is in strong souls a stimulus to the Will. It is the Furnace of Thirst that burneth up all dross within us”. De Lege Libellum, Aleister Crowley.

“Verily and Amen! I passed through the deep sea, and by the rivers of running water that abound therein, and I came unto the Land of No Desire.”
–Liber Cordis Cincti Serpente sub figura LXV, III:1

“…they abode in the Land that the far-off travellers call Naught.”
–Liber Cordis Cincti Serpente sub figura LXV, V:59

“…O Thou that sittest upon the Earth! (so spake a certain Veiled One to me) thou art not greater than thy mother! Thou speck of dust infinitesimal! Liber Cordis Cincti Serpente sub figura LXV, II, 3

“…A little crazy boy that rode with me spake unto the swan, and said:
Who art thou that dost float and fly and dive and soar in the inane? Behold, these many æons have passed; whence camest thou? Whither wilt thou go?
And laughing I chid him, saying: No whence! No whither!
The swan being silent, he answered: Then, if with no goal, why this eternal journey?
And I laid my head against the Head of the Swan, and laughed, saying: Is there not joy ineffable in this aimless winging? Is there not weariness and impatience for who would attain to some goal?
And the swan was ever silent. Ah! but we floated in the infinite Abyss. Joy! Joy!
White swan, bear thou ever me up between thy wings!
O silence! O rapture! O end of things visible and invisible! This is all mine, who am Not.
Radiant God! Let me fashion an image of gems and gold
Thou shalt manifest Thyself in the unmanifest; in the secret places men shall meet with thee, and Thou shalt overcome them…” Liber Cordis Cincti Serpente sub figura LXV, II 20 to 26.

Anthropologist Carlos Castaneda’s teachings that he acquired from “Don Juan” a native American from the Arizona desert, also the goal of the “Warrior” (he who has chosen the path of knowledge) equivalent also to “Brujo” (witch in Spanish meaning man of Knowledge) is to make him/her self a Zero by casting away all the stuff hidden in the one’s own experiences’s store, which ironically starts by a hard and consciously way of meditation: “The Recapitulation” of one´s own life, chapter by chapter, scene by scene, starting form now and backwards till the beginning, recovering cosmic energy of the true self, and leaving those experiences in the past to be no more part of it.

Once the “Brujo or Bruja” is able to achieve the state when identifies him/herself with Zero, then “The Intent” which is the blind, neutral force that builds the perceptible world is able to be used by them. “The intent is the only source of real power to the magician or shaman, is the timeless source of all magick and sorcery”.

Another useful teaching of this Castaneda’s current, among some others that i value a lot, is the exercise called “The not to do” or not doing something. I have found that this is a wonderful way of put in motion magick manifestation in daily life, and it was the real the inspiration for this article’s title. It is a technique in which one have to be very vigilant of his own behaviour every moment and find those things that one is habituated to do almost automatically or without thinking, those reactions, those habits, and start to not doing them. This exercise has a huge impact in one’s own psychology and is fair to know that is not intended to be a restriction of the freedom of the will, but a truly door to access other realms or dimensions and to actually manifest creation.

The “Not to do something” not as a restriction of the true will but as a different way of manifesting it

Instead of being a simply not to do anything and be crossed arms should become in doing the opposite of that of what you are habituated to do, or doing it in other way. For example if you use to walk the same way once and again towards your home, you can change it and that would make a difference. Is not necessary even to have previously “a behaviour” to change or to not do , but “The not to do” also is to do something you never have done or you are not habituated to do. For example going to walk and collect small stones or rocks. Or if you are habituated to react to certain facts in a way try to change them doing its opposite. I have found that using this “Not to do” something technique is also helpful to find a way to the manifestation of the “true will” in the real life, while stopping acting almost as robots pre conditioned for the society and even ourselves, we can open the door to the manifestation of the true self in our lives, showing us a different plane whatever we need most in our spiritual path and development.

“The only thing that is real is the being in you, that is going to die”. Carlos Castaneda. “Journey to Ixtlan.

“The is no emptiness in the life of a warrior. Everything is filled to the brim, everything is filled to the brim and all is equal”. Carlos Castaneda. Conversations with Don Juan.

Psychedelics, Religion, Christmas and Spirituality

In this article I wish to delve into what is to likely be a controversial subject for some or perhaps a majority of the general population.  This article will be on the topic of hallucinogens in regards to aiding in spiritual development.  On my page Astrotheology and Shamanism on Facebook I delve into some of the symbolism and rituals behind such things as the origin of the Christmas tree, communion, the origin of Santa Claus, the Zodiac and even the Bible in regards to the sacred mushroom.  Here is an excerpt from that page written out of the book “Astrotheology and Shamanism:  Christianity’s Pagan Roots.”

COMMUNION: Amanita mushrooms go through a chemical process as they dry. This process is necessary, for most people, before ceremonial ingestion. In other words, they must be dried in order for them to work. The reason that we want to dry the mushrooms out is that they contain ibotenic acid. By drying the mushrooms out, much of the ibotenic acid is converted (decarboxylated) into muscimol, which is a much stronger entheogenic substance.

One of the practices of drying the mushrooms would be to place them in stockings and hang the stockings over the hearth of the fireplace overnight. What was less potent becomes, by morning, a nice present after hanging over the warm fire, and is ready for consumption during the winter solstice celebrations.

These mushrooms grow to be large and quite heavy when they are wet. The ideal practice would be to dry them out in the field before bringing them home. This way, the mushrooms are not as heavy when they are carried, and those on the bottom of the bag or basket won’t be destroyed by the weight of those on the top. After all, 40 pounds of dry mushrooms are going to be much greater in quantity than 40 pounds of wet mushrooms.

The mushrooms are dried in the sun before the shaman returns home with them. One way to do this is to find a tree in a central location, hang the mushrooms on the tree and let them dry out in the boughs or the branches of the tree while the shaman continues to hunt for more mushrooms. After a period, all these mushrooms hanging in the tree resemble a decorated Christmas tree. It appears as though the pine tree is bearing fruit. It can even look as though candles have been placed throughout the tree, with the red cap representing the flame and the stripe representing the candle itself. Today, as at Easter, most who celebrate Christmas do not use mushrooms in their traditions, but they do continue to use the symbolism of the mushrooms in many ways. In the Middle Ages, when alchemy was at its peak, mystery plays often featured decorated trees. The church did not like this. Although they compromised at first, they soon forbade the tree ritual altogether. How they compromised was interesting, to say the least. They added holy Eucharistic wafers to the ornaments on the tree. Just as the shamans did, they decorated the tree with their sacred meal.

Once the winter solstice had arrived, the shaman would go out into the local community and deliver these dried mushrooms to each of the tribe members. Because of the cold Siberian climate, the main entrance into the Siberian homes (known as yurts) would often be snowed over, so everyone in the family must climb up to the roof and enter through the secondary or winter entrance, the chimney. Santa Claus, or the shaman bearing the bag of goodies, would enter the yurt through the smoke hole. This is where they symbology originated.

Santa Claus is not always red and white. Santa Claus or Father Christmas, or the shaman, would dress in clothing resembling the plants that were available in their local vicinity. The darker-colored Santa Claus is actually representing a different mushroom. It is not the A. muscaria that this darker-colored Santa represents, but the Amanita pantherina.”

The roots of Christian-dumb are founded in the only true religion that has ever existed and ever will exist and that is in the cycles of nature.  All of the communion of today’s churches are nothing more than a mere bastardization of taking the sacrament of the sacred mushroom in order to stimulate the spiritual attunements already present within us, a catalyst for enlightenment however I should mention it would be wise not to abuse these chemicals and only to use them in order to begin the alchemical process of spiritual development.

The term sacred however is derived from sacral or sacrum.  “The sacrum; plural: sacra or sacrum’s, Latin os sacrum in human anatomy is a large, triangular bone at the base of the spine, that forms by the fusing of sacred vertebRAe S1-S5, between 18 and 30 years of age.

“The sacrum articulates (forms a joint) with four other bones.  It is situated at the upper, back part of the pelvic cavity, where it is anatomically inserted between the two hip bones (illium).  The two lateral projections of the sacrum are called the alae (wings), and articulate with the illium at the L-shaped sacroiliac joints.  The upper part of the sacrum connects with the last lumbar vertebra, and its lower part with the coccyx (tailbone) via the sacral and coccygeal cornua.”

It does not take much to see the symbolism behind these wings and the wings of the symbolism intermingled with the caduceus, which represents the sacred oil rising from the coccygeal up the two sets of nerves packed with polar energies contained within the nerves, the oil rise up into the brain in order to activate the pineal gland along with higher parts of the brain or the crown.

Think of the human body as a sort of beaker like that found in a chemistry set and as such in the human body there should be a balance.  Equations in chemical terms “are used to graphically illustrate chemical reactions.  They consist of chemical or structural formulas of the reactants on the left and those of the products on the right.  An arrow, which indicates the direction and type of the reaction, separates them; the arrow is read as the word “yields.”  The tip of the arrow points in the direction in which the reaction proceeds.  A double arrow pointing in opposite directions is used for equilibrium reactions.  Equations should be balanced according to the stoichiometric; the number of atoms of each species should be the same on both sides of the equation.  This is achieved by scaling the number of involved molecules (A, B, C and D in a schematic example below) by the appropriate integers a, b, c and d.)”

Recall in my last article “Creativity, Social Strife, Yoga and Bad Vibes” when I discussed frequencies in relation to positive and negative along with Justin Bieber and Slayer.  Both male and female frequencies are present in both instances however one is dominant in either case in regards to the nerve stimulation and the amount of sacred fluid proportioned to each side.

Archaeologist have discovered that psilocybin mushrooms have been used since prehistoric times and was used in religious rituals 6,000 years ago and there is cave art in the Tassili caves of Algeria dating from 7,000 to 9,000 years ago that show a species of Psilocybe mairel.  This substance has been used for religious communion, divination, and healing and mushroom stones and motifs have been found in Guatemala.  There have been statues and the Aztecs used a species of the psilocybe species known as teonanacatl which literally translates to “divine mushroom, or god, or sacred which is to say sacral.  The Catholic sacrament of the Eucharist used today amongst the Catholic Church is nothing more than a bastardization of the communion of the community joining together to take part in the holy communion of tripping together.

“The ancient shamans of Siberia would gather enough mushrooms for the entire community and have a communion. These ancient shamans would go to the houses of the people in the community in celebration of the winter solstice, deliver the mushrooms to them and guide them through the experience…it was their yearly tradition. This is where Santa comes from. The shaman, often dressing in the red and white colors of the Amanita and carrying a huge bag full of the same red and white mushrooms that he or she had picked and dried during the previous season (enough for the entire community), would go door to door and give the community the mushroom experience.”

The Amanita muscaria along with other psychedelic substances acts as a catalyst for the chemicals already present in each one of our bodies in order to jump-start sort to speak the alchemical process of illumination as I have already mentioned.  Though I do feel that these substances can help to propel one towards spiritual enlightenment I also believe that one should not substitute this for true spiritual growth, which takes substantial effort however, this is only as I said, a suggestion.

A bit of my own personal experiences with certain substances can perhaps explain my own spiritual awakening however this was only temporary as long as these substances were present in my own body given that the compositions were in correct proportions to allow such a phenomenon.

About my path in occultism

I am so happy to write this article, about my path in occultism to break the ice of silence the blog have had the last weeks due my partner co owner of the blog and me have been very busy with our personal duties in work and study. Anyways we give a lot of importance to this blog among other extra work and study projects that we have independently and in common. We are mainly of all two lovers of writing and we are only expressing our opinion about the subjects that we talk, that are linked with occultism, due our main interest as well, being both of us not only students but also practitioners of art occult.

The first articles that we have uploaded for the public have been well received and that makes us feel thankful and the same time encourage us more to keep doing writing.

Now focusing in the purpose of this article which is talk about my own experience in occultism, i decided to talk about it because usually i get questions from people who want to know it, and i really would love to talk to each one of them but my life is very busy, and i really cannot give to all the people the time i would like to do it. I want to write it also as an exercise of memory and of self knowledge, that is a very good way of moving magickal energies.

Well first of all i have to say that my path in the occult has not started with this incarnation. I have been into occult before, and this i know because i have had the gift of remembering aspects of some of my previous incarnations (a gift that i guess every one could be able to get), i can’t say that i remember all of them or all the experiences in one life time, but i have memories since i was a little child and also remembered other incarnations being a teenager besides the childhood memories, and that memories opened to me in 2013 a door to enter my past as soul, bringing me info from the last century in which i was incarnated as a woman called Alice Astor from the USA member of a masonic family, till  thousands of years ago with memories of the 18th dynasty in Ancient Egypt,  in which i was a priestess of Akhenaten, explaining in some way the affinity that i always have had to this ancient culture.

Anyways this thing about the knowledge of the incarnations and remembering past lives is a good thing but is just that: A knowledge, and is not meant to make us focus in the past but to learn something from the past and apply it in the now when is necessary, because we are the now. So many people ask me if i have been initiated, and i ask then that not in fact, not in this life at least,  and in the material sense of the question.

This article is meant  to about myself in this incarnation path in occultism:

I grew inside 2 families very catholic, conservative, retrograde, and it was usual and almost a duty to go to church on Sunday, and pray all the days in the table and before going to sleep, and the indoctrination was also present at school, where  even a priest offered his offices.

It was during the high school, that i started to feeling the  attraction to occult knowledge, i always have been a good reader since very young age and the books were that make me develop the interest. Classic novels of Shakespeare, and history books taking specially about the middle age, dark times got my attention, and finally my first a “academic” book that talked  about occultism  i got on a library in front the bus stop that i used to go every day. The name of the book was Metaphysics written by Connie Mendez, she was a latin american author, the book talked about metaphysical, the thing that is beyond physic. She talked about the Kybalion of Hermes  also combined with christian Gnosticism and the Rays of Light the Ascendant Masters, St Germain and so.

At the same time i had access to  books of another latin american author called Samael Awn Weaor, his teachings very close to the Golden Dawn, Rossy Cross and Qabbalistic knowledge combined with Hindu tantric energies study.

I developed a real interest in study the different religions around the world despite i never saw my self as a follower for a religion. The interest in know more about religions seemed to be out place to a person who don’t want to be a follower, but is not so that, i was really fascinated with the romantic idealism of the peoples and cultures to worship a supreme being or knowledge or the universe. So i was always studying and reading about that. Always thinking and that my favourite profession in which i would love to be was anthropology or even archaeology. Later i studied law at the university and i had the opportunity also to had classes in Humanities about world wide religions for a semester.

To me Religion is linked to magick, religious practices are mere rituals with the intent of unite the opposites, to enter the spiritual realm or to bring it to the material plane. Mythological beings origin of the deities or supernal beings rulers of the different religions.

I deeply studied  Hindu and Tibetan knowledge for a couple of years, making me be conscious  of the necessity of get into oneself in meditation, and yoga practices. It made me aware of the existence of me in higher spheres. “Know thy self is the door that we are meant to enter if we want to get access to the knowledge of the whole universe of universes”.  As above , so below.

Entering the university i knew 2 paths of exercising “the witch inside me” though the paganism way becoming a wicca practitioner in solitary but also sometimes i met with a couple of female friends who were also interested and we used to go to the forest and make a worship to the gods. During that times i got very engaged to the Celtic Gods and Druidi, also as the Norse mythology, even i chosen the name Cerridwen as a pseudonym to use online as i did with the name wicca princesa.

Alternatively with the wicca practises, i studied the author Carlos Castaneda’s books for so long time getting in to a very interesting way of understanding the cosmic forces,  using and manifesting magick, very different and unique, despite the teachings could be compared to other systems. To me this author and the other female “Brujas”, (witches in Spanish) Carol Tigg, Taisha Abelar, Florinda Doner,  who were part of the group under the guidance of Don Juan, really influenced my occult path i a can say that this learning is very natural but very mysterious at the same time and it talks not even to your brain or your thinking skills but to your real energy. I really think they had secret and very valuable knowledge applicable in the handle of the forces of cosmos, very ancient knowledge inherited of the mayas and aztecas as well with other north american tribes. In two occasions i have had people talking at me to discredit  this knowledge saying that Castaneda invented the character of Don Juan, i really don’t care if that is true or not,  i always judge the thing by the results and i had very good results with his teachings  applying them to the daily life and also with the practises he suggested. Even now that learning is still on me influencing my actions and my elections in life, even in a subconsciously way.  I will go deep in his teachings in a new article for this blog soon.

Through the time i read Madame Blavatsky, Eliphas Levi, Paracelsus, Keys of Solomon, which is the origin of Goetic knowledge,  i got into the study of astrology, tarot, runes, and other kind of divination methods as well as the study of herbs, stones, spells, but also alchemy, and specially the kabbalah tree of life. I also dedicated a lot reading about the Knight Templars and the Masonry. Also appreciate the teachings i found in Anton La Vey books.

I remember it was 1998 when i bought a book in which mentioned Aleister Crowley, and that was the first time i knew about him,  the book also talked about the Star Ruby Ritual and no more. Later i got the Liber 777 to study the tree of life but that was my only contact to Crowley for long time.

It was only 2 years ago that i met my thelemic mentor online, an initiated in O.T.O. and A.’.A.’. He offered me to teach me the same way he was tought. In some way the learning i acquired before,  it was a preparation of the thelemic knowledge, and this improve my process of understanding it.

I have found in thelema my element, my channelizer, my pivot, it brought to me an environment of manifestation for  my spiritual self, starting the process of awake the self consciousness one time and for all,   that i don’t had before.  Thelema put all the pieces in the correct place to make it understandable to me. At the same time it helped me in develop my will which is a thing still in progress,  but i really can see it manifest.  And that is the best magick one ever can do.

Of course i continue being and recognising my self as a witch, a natural one, that i am;  i am also a tireless student, a devotee of the higher energies, a magician and and walking the path of the adepthood. I take my path very seriously as it should be, since that i knwo that all that i own is my self. I do crafts and magickal workings as i always have done and totally love my path every step i take.
